'I don't care' he whispered harshly as he pounded the punching bags with his clenched fists. 'I do not care about her' he reminded himself as continued to pummel the life out of the bags. After two hours of consistent exercise, Maan slumped onto the ground, his chest heaving whilst he recalled her horrified expression in the swimming pool. 'You mean nothing to me Geet' he told the ceiling, the mirrors, the walls ' anything within ear shot. He raised himself to his feet and walked towards the shower room. Standing in the middle of the cold shower, he allowed the water to cool his raging temper. Any more delays in his senses, and he would have drowned the girl to death. Maan shook his head in self disgust; he was too dangerous to be in close proximity to her.
Stepping out of the shower, Maan dried his body with the towel as he stared at his monstrous face in the reflection of the mirror. 'What is happening to me?' he whispered to himself. 'Why am I losing control of my emotions?' Maan closed his eyes and cursed himself for revealing so much about his past. How could he confide to a girl he did not even trust with feelings he had kept contained to himself for all these years. Utterly ashamed at his lack of self control, Maan left the room and commenced walking up the staircase to his own room. Turning the doorknob, he casually strode to his bed and slumped down in exhaustion. The scent of flowers and Geet shot through his nostrils, causing him to moan in anguish. Couldn't the girl let him sleep in peace!? With a curse he flung the pillow away and tried to sleep on the sheets. Even that smelled like her.
Resisting the urge to throw the entire bed outside the window, Maan got off the bed and made way to his couch instead. He awkwardly laid back onto the couch and folded his arms against his chest. He was about to drift off to sleep when he suddenly heard someone sneeze in the adjourned room. Without even realizing how fast his reflexes were, Maan shot out of the couch and came running towards the connecting doorway. Opening the door, Maan quietly made his way into her room, only to stop short once his senses caught up with his super human speed of a reaction. One sneeze and he was stressed and worried like a man whipped!? Ashamed of himself for acting like a love sick puppy, Maan tried to suppress the urge to check on her. Upon turning around with the intention to respectively go back to his couch, Geet sneezed again.
All thoughts and precautions were instantly forgotten as Maan made his way to her bed. He sat on the side of her bed and gently placed his hand on her forehead. To his relief, there was no signs of her burning with fever. Maan covered her with the coverlet, in hopes to keep her snuggled in the warmth. He couldn't help but notice how lovely and quiet she looked whence asleep. The complete opposite to the raging talkative banshee she was when wide awake, he thought to himself in affectionate amusement. Taking her current sleeping condition as an opportunity, Maan brushed his fingers through her hair, wincing in remembrance of how hard he had pulled it back. His bouts of sympathy cut short the moment Geet decided to let out another sneeze. Only this time, her sneeze was more louder, deeper and manlike.
'AAACHOOO!' she sneezed, sending all her sick snot onto his face. Maan flinched back in astonishment, his eyes widening at the intensity of her sneeze. She sneezed like a man! Maan touched his face and felt a gooey wet sensation on his cheeks. Wiping it clean, he looked at his fingertips and marveled at the green slime of her snot penetrating his fingertips. If she hadn't been sincerely sick, Maan would have sworn that Geet had done this on purpose to extract her revenge upon him. His suspicious thoughts were reinforced as Geet began to smile triumphantly in her sleep. His eyes narrowed as he wondered whether she was even truly asleep. His attention once again was reverted to his hands as he wondered how it was possible that all these revolting germs lingered in that small nose of hers.
Geet's eyes began to flicker open, causing Maan to snap out of his horrific reflections. It came to his notice that he was sitting on her bed, in the middle of the night, without a proper excuse other than sounding like a complete wimp by claiming to check on her because she merely sneezed. He stood up instantly and nearly ran to his room with his desperate need to leave unnoticed. Thankfully as he looked over his shoulder, he realized that Geet had simply turned to the opposite side to sleep. With a sigh of relief, Maan closed the adjourning door and locked it. He needed to distance himself from her otherwise once his emotions were left loose, there was no turning back.
************
He choked on his drink the moment he heard her announce that she had finally shaved her legs. It was such a ridiculous and childish statement, that he almost lost control of his expression and howled in laughter. Noticing his men around him, surveying his every move ' Maan took a hold of his feelings and stood up with a curse. He couldn't shame himself by portraying any sort of emotions to his men. They feared him. Everyone did. He could not permit himself from losing the fearful respect he had gained from his peers by not etching any expressions save hatred and coldness upon his face.
'Maan' he heard her hesitantly say from behind, 'I just wanted to say...' His heart stopped beating as he waiting in anticipation for her following words. At that moment the footmen arrived and interrupted the moment by announcing that his past mistress has arrived and was expecting him. Muffling the urge to slam his fist into the footmen's face, Maan nodded his head and attempted to calm himself. From the corner of his eyes, he watched Geet's jaw drop in astonishment as she stared at his mistress in awe. Maan's eyes followed her train of attention and lingered upon the woman he had known thoroughly for many years.
Her once acknowledged beauty paled in comparison to the stunning vibrancy Geet's entire existence portrayed. His attention was so engrossed with Geet, that he failed to react when Sanjana kissed him full on the lips. Restraining himself from simply pushing her onto the ground and walking away from her, Maan slipped his hands down her waist and squeezed roughly, fully intending to hurt her. Sanjana gasped in pain and immediately tried to step back from his embrace, only to be stopped as Maan tightly held onto her. 'Never' he whispered into her ear 'do that again'.
That being said, he brushed past her and walked up to his room wishing to be alone. There was a lot on his mind, and knowing that Geet was part of it, irked him even more. He dialed a number on his phone and waited for the recipient to answer. 'Has the drugs been smuggled through?' he asked one of his men, 'good now I want you to take a private plane to South Africa. A few of the other men are also there for business. Once you've reached them, I need everyone of you to equip yourself with the weapons provided in our factory. I'll message you the outline of what I need to be done by tomorrow' he finished off, disconnecting the phone.
Now that the plan was set in place, Maan felt a sense of relief. He took off his singlet and pants, and stood clad in his black boxers. Tomorrow he needed to wake up early and catch the first flight to South Africa. He laid down onto his bed and instantly within minutes fell asleep.
**********
It felt as if he had slept only a few seconds when he felt a presence in the bed beside him. Dangerously aware of the intruder's every move, Maan quietly retrieved the dagger from underneath his pillow. Then with the speed of a lion, Maan wrestled the body onto the bed and covered the body with his, intending to pin the person down, thus trapping them. However his senses came alert when he realized that the body beneath him belonged to a woman, a nude woman. His sleep dazed mind could not register the fact that it was Sanjana lying beneath him instead of an assigned killer. 'Sanjana!?' he snapped, hardly noticing the door to the connecting room being opened. Sanjana smiled slyly and licked her red lips, 'mmm where have you been hiding baby?' she purred. Maan's eyes narrowed as he looked down at her plastic face. 'You do know that It does not affect me whether your a woman or a man' he stated through gritted teeth. 'Once anyone has pushed passed their limits, my dagger will not differentiate whether it's a female or males neck it is slitting'.
Sanjana gasped in fear, 'I didn't think you meant it when you told me that you were getting bored of me' she stammered. Maan pushed her naked body off the bed, and satisfyingly watched her fall onto the hard ground. 'I expect not to see you tomorrow morning' he murmured, 'and if I do. Then perhaps consider tomorrow your last day living in this earth'. Sanjana needed no more threats as she stumbled out of the room, retrieving her discarded clothes from the ground and slamming the door shut. Maan re-considered his threat and wished he had killed her instantly for ruining his sleep. Lying back onto the pillow, Maan flicked the cigarette into his mouth and rested his arms underneath his head.
He blew the smoke towards the ceiling and watched it puff up and disappear into thin air. He was in the midst of lighting out his smoke when he heard Geet moan painfully in her room. His curiosity peaked as he wondered what the cause was for her to moan and groan so loudly. She seemed fine at the dinner table, he mused to himself as he made his way to her room.
************
Geet sobbed on the toilet seat. She cried her flaming heart out. Two reasons: Her stomach ache was so darn painful and on top of that her shit would not emerge from her tightened-have-not-shited-in-weeks buttocks! She held onto the wall of the bathroom as she huffed and puffed, inhaling and exhaling then with all of her strength pushed and pushed. Nothing. The pressure she was exerting on herself was so intense, that she was half paranoid that she would plop out a random miracle child that was formed in her lapse of mentally consummating her marriage with Arjun Rampal & John Abraham.
She allowed herself to rest for a while as she began to make her life decisions in the toilet seat. Geet did not want to think about why she had been crying in bed when she caught that sick, animal lustful bas***d in bed with that skimpy tramp. She feverishly wished and prayed that he got aids from that diseased wh**e of an excuse of a woman. That would teach him not to sleep with any random girls! It also annoyed her to actually realize that he was not a virgin either. Did the virgin till marriage rules apply only to women? If she was planning to save herself up for marriage, then why can't a bloody guy tread on the same pure path!?
Her stomach ache returned back in full force, causing her to groan loudly as the pain enveloped her entire senses. Giving up, Geet flushed the toilet and literally crawled to the bathroom to wash her hands. Grimacing, Geet doubled over and sat on the ground of the bathroom, curling herself up into a ball and crying out for her long lost puppy John. 'I'm going to dieee' she cried, unable to take the constipated pain any longer.
'Geet!' she heard Maan slam his fist onto the door, 'Geet are you okay!?' She groaned at his horrifying timings, 'go back to your wh**e you infected s**t!' she retorted in anger. 'Geet I can't hear you! Are you okay?' he shouted. Without waiting for her response or respectively asking whether she had her knickers on, Maan kicked the door open and came running frantically in. As soon as he saw her curled onto the floor, he picked her up into his arms and ran down the flight of stairs without even pausing to catch his breath.
Had she been in any less pain, Geet would have refrained him from taking her to the hospital. However she was no convinced that she was suffering from some form of stomach cancer and was now due to die any second. 'HURRY UP!' she shouted frantically, 'I'm going to die!' Maan's foot hit the accelerator as he drove in full speed. Geet moaned as she saw the red light and the line of cars before theirs. 'We are not going to make it' she gasped dramatically. 'What exactly is wrong with you Geet?' he asked worriedly. 'I think I have stomach cancer' she confirmed with him, clearly recalling that wikipedia had shown that her symptoms were not merely due to constipation.
'What?' he asked, his face paling in shock. 'We don't have time to discuss this Maan' she snapped in hysteria, 'I'm possibly breathing my last breaths at this moment and all your doing is asking questions as to how I know that I am going to die!? Well that's seriously a comforting topic to talk about' she complained. Maan needed no more encouragements as he rolled down the window of his car and aimed his gun at the traffic lights. Geet automatically forgot about her stomach ache, 'just what do you think your doing!?' she cried out.
Too late. The commotion that arose whence Maan shot the lights, looked like a scene derived from a movie. Every car started speeding away, crashing into each other in their haste to escape, thus making the road clear for him to continue driving without any further interruptions. Geet was so embarrassed and shocked by his response, that she could have sworn her constipation was beginning to turn into diarrhea. Eventually he reached a private hospital and parked the car, running towards the passenger seat to lift her protectively into his arms.
The way he was reacting, threatening the doctors and nurses to cure her immediately made her worry that she probably overreacted by diagnosing herself with stomach cancer. In fact, now she was dreading that it was actually simply just a bad case of constipation. Geet looked at the doctor in desperation as they laid her onto the stretcher, perhaps she could bribe him to convince Maan that it was cancer and that within 10 minutes of examination it was all cured. Perhaps.
'Geet' Maan whispered as he followed the stretcher, his forehead marred in concern. 'Nothing will happen to you. Do not worry or concern yourself. I will pay for the most expensive surgeons to cure you. So long as I am alive, not even a scratch could be placed upon you without having to face me'. That said, Maan was eventually informed to wait patiently outside so the doctor could properly examine the patient. Maan nodded his head, not used to following orders. But before the nurse was able to walk inside the room, Maan held onto her arm 'Inform all the doctors and staff, that if anything happens to Geet. I will personally kill each and every one of you. Then I will proceed in burning this hospital down, disregarding nor caring about how many patients, staff or members of their family will die in the process'.
The nurse stared at him shell shocked. 'Understood?' he commanded with a menacing tone. The nurse nodded her head and scurried off from the raging lunatic who seemed frantic enough to kill anyone who even stared at him.
Maan strolled impatiently around the hallway, resisting the urge to go into the room and demand the doctors to tell him what was happening. Eventually the nurse he had previously threatened came out with a huge smile upon her lips. 'You may go in sir'. Maan hurried into the room and felt his heart constrict painfully in response to seeing her fragile figure lying in the hospital bed. Her head was turned away and it seemed like she was trying to hide from him. 'Doctor is she okay? She still seems pale and quite shaken' he exclaimed in renewed worriment. The doctor chuckled and patted his back, only to step back when he noticed Maan's deadly expression.
'Ehm the patient is fine. Absolutely nothing to worry about.' The doctor commented. 'I have given her laxatives, so the problem will soon be solved once she goes to the bathroom'. Maan's forehead creased in confusion, 'laxatives?' The doctor nodded his head, 'she simply had a bad case of constipation. That is why her stomach pains were so severe. But in a few hours, she should be completely fine' he announced before leaving them alone in the room.
Geet wanted to die. She could not even manage to face him, nor look him in the eye. Not only was her shitting issues discussed so openly to him, but now he knew that all the fuss and commotion was simply over a mere case of a really hard and stubborn poop.
Maan's hands tightened in a fist as he realized that he had missed his flight to South Africa whereby his mission, plan and men needed him the most, over a simple case of her being constipated? 'For once your intelligent enough to not meet my eyes' Maan whispered in a deadly tone, 'because right now I'm in the mood to kill'.
