Oh late latif, being maha late, has taken it upon herself to do rounds and finish up commenting on all the posts in a go, after watching all epis in a go - sooo, main bhi agayi Srushee 🤗

I love how this episode begins - or rather the previous one ended - full on Lagaan note, the way the 'teams' Rashipur and Talsagra line up - and how foreboding is it, that Gulaal stands tall in the meager but very resolved Team Talsagra? If her days in T were not evidence enough, this line up just underlines and highlights that fact, that she has in fact found her second home to belong to, for life!

The entire sequence hereafter, of MB and Revji resolving the matter with the pagri and izzat attached - is so well scripted, the writers can take all the credit and more for turning such a tense situation in something so effective, convincing and not a second of melodrama! Even Revji's 'dramatic' touch, lol @Gullu inheriting the traits from both parents - is done in such a subtle manner, every face in the scene even the bunch of extras plays its part so so well! And MB and Revji, truly go on to prove why they are men of such honor, such respect, and in the long running of this show, two elders who never fail their part. Somehow, when MB defends Gulaal, correcting Revji's accusation of the shame she has brought to in fact how much pride she has bestowed upon entire Kuchchh, it reminds me of a much later to come in the day scene, where Revji comes to T haveli after Gulaal has become the disgraced angel with the final Dushyant showdown and her seeming betrayal - the dialogue where Revji tells MB that Gulaal must have had a reason; and MB questions what reason could have been greater than her husband's murder! Its like a reverse situation - except in the latter resolve doesn't come by so quickly - but really Gulaal's daring self made decisions in her estimation of mass welfare have always found someone very trusting and sane to stand up and ask - what reason was so great. And Gulaal, rightly or wrongly in her conviction, has always had a righteous reason to claim!

Anyway - I love how the undercurrents also play wrt Vasant's image in Rashipur, and Dushyant's right from the start pull out his pistol antics! Then Vasant's appreciation club started by Revji in obligation of blood, Vasant's role in stepping up to make peace with RookiBaa... Vasant, Vasant, Vasant - everywhere in the forefront, including ofc, a certain missy Gulel's heart 😆 The actress playing RookiBaa is such a natural - just like every other person on this cast (minus Pathetic Baa and nava Yogehs post leap) does her part with finesse! Her distress, and ultimate resignation, and the shaky hands which ask Vasant if he can be her Manoj ... When Dushyant gives a smile to that - that oh so not indulgent smile - I'm thinking gear up boy, this should have been your place if you were getting anywhere that you wanted - this place, and all the hearts here, are branded Vasant - teri daal nahi galne waali 😆

I love how this show, especially in this pre leap part, gets all the folk music in - such a natural touch, and oh the music pieces are so so in mood with the scenes. The PooBaa and Gulaal scene is theatrics galore - ek dramebaaz to another 🤣 God the OTT enthusiasm these two exhibit just makes you grin your widest! And I didn't read through everyone's posts, but I suppose someone must have noticed that Gulaal's fantastic show off embroidery is on a cloth piece in none other than kesariya rang ☺️ the subtle hints and indications that the CVs left all along the trail are like the children's story of Hansel and Gretel leaving signs along the way to trace their way home!

GV and flirting is as quintessential as GK blowing hot and cold 😆 Btw, watching this episode, especially the way Vasant with his persona wins over everything that can breathe - reminds me of how Kesar in contrast manages to put off every single person. Contrast, say, Vasant and Yogesh vs Kesar and Yogesh .. ahem! How with good intentions or bad, he manages to get on the wrong side of everyone, before finally finding his long uphill winding road to reform, redemption and making up!

ps: special shout out to Gullu's special and exclusive mention of Kesar ji 😆 ye to hona hi tha! 😆

---

okay, moving on to watch epi 24 now =)
