Khurana Constructions
Maan and Adi were busy with their presetnation work. Maan cannot afford to lose this deal at any cost. He has worked for days and nights together.
One end, he had the pressure to do well and get this deal by any means to save the empire and the other end his dad's deteriorating health.

The board members of the client company had all arrived at the Khurana Constructions. Since it was a big project, they all decided to meet there itself as it will be a bit easier for them to present.
The conference room was set up, and all the chairs were occupied.
Maan sat on his chair , and Adi began with the presentation. The members were asking questions and Adi and Maan were clarifying their doubts. It was going on good, All were pleased and satisfied by the
overall aspects of the project. Since it was a heavy deal for them, they decided to talk a bit personally beofre taking any decision.
Maan and Adi excused them, and they left the room. Maan was pacing up and down.
After some time of discussing, They met again.
Mr. Khurana, we are very happy with the presentation. Infact it is one of the best we have seen. As per your record, KC is the best in business. But there is a thing we want you to know,

Well, we are waiting for a conformation from our MD. She should be here in few minutes.

The same time, the conference room door opened, and all of them rose from their seats, except Maan. Since he couldnt see who came in.
I am sorry, I am a bit late for the present... She left it incomplete. Her eyes were shocked to the person in front of her.
Maan stood up, shocked. Geet.. He couldnt believe , what Geet was doing here. He was completley surprised to see her here.
Maan.. Oh no.. Geet kept her files on the desk, and closed her eyes in disbelief.
Mr. Khurana, This is our MD. Miss Geet Handa.
MD , Miss Geet Handa.. just rung his head . His head started spinning. How can she do this. She knew I would not take any help from her.
Then why , why did she send her company for the presentation. Geet.. His eyes said it all.
Geet was standing there , looking at him. Her eyes wanted to say something, but Maan was so furious at her, that he did not even look at her. He turned towards, one of the board member,
I am sorry Mr. Bhalla, but I am not interested in this deal , looking at Geet with straight piercing eyes, anymore.
But Maan..I mean ..Mr. Khurana, please listen to me , with pleading eyes, once.
Sorry Miss Handa, I am not interested in your company. And he left the room, followed by Adi who looked at Geet with sad eyes.
Gentleman, have a seat, I will be back. She rushed behind Maan.
Maan, she pushed open the door of Maan's cabin.
Geet, I dnt want to talk to you. Just Leave me alone. He snapped back.
She went near him, held his hand, and made him turn to face her, You will have to listen.
He jerked his hand, and made Geet to move back. He left the room.
Geet sat there wondering, Right then Adi came in.
Adi, ask Maan to accept this deal. Please he needs it.
Geet, he wnt you know that and I too know that.
She sat down on the chair, I had no idea about this whole project until few minutes back. Dad is in US and he told me to attend to this presentation. I had no damn idea. And The members selected him,
by seeing the presentation right, then how can he say that, he wnt accept, It has nothing to do with me.
Thats alright, but..
Nothing but..go and explain this to Maan. She got up..Just then Maan came in, after hearing all their conversation.
I wnt listen, Geet , i thought of you as my best friend, and you he held her by the shoulder and shook her..why Geet, for the first time, I want to do something by myself. Even if you didnt know anything about this, I wnt and will never accept this.
So please Geet, it would be great if you could just leave. He turned away from her. Geet stood there stand.
Fine , Mr. Khurana. I am leaving. She came forward towards the door, pulled the door, and turned around to face Maan without leaving the handle,
Just remember one thing, I was here not as Geet your friend, but as the MD of Prince Hotels and Resorts, a part of Handa Grp of Industires. I thought you are a professional. But na... you are not. You saw me as your friend there. Didn't you see, what Mr. Bhalla , introduced me as.. Miss Geet Handa, the MD.
Maan clenched his fist without turning back. When it comes to my work, you know better, I do that which is beneficial for my company. Well Sad , Mr. Khurana, you just lost a great oppurtunity.
She looked at Adi, Bye Adi.

I 'll come with you Geet, let me apologize to the members. She just smiled.
As the door closed, Maan clenched his fist tightly and slammed hard on the desk. He couldnt deal with the way Geet just spoke to him. He was not aware of these kind of situation. How to deal with the clients who are friends or relatives. He never mixed them. He knew this would happen. But what he did not know is , at bad times, these are people who will help him the most. His Dad strongly
believed in this. But this was Maan. Maan Singh Khurana .

Club
Three friends sat there, drinking. He was so stressed out, that he called Tej and Adi to meet him at the club.
Most of the time, they were quiet, only Maan would talk regarding KC, Geet.
Since Adi was there, Pinky and Geet came there too. Adi had called Pinky, since he was busy all these days, he didnt get time to meet Pinky.
Maan saw Geet, she saw him. Both looking at each other, So it was now, Tej and Maan. Geet did not join them. She was furious at this attitude of Maan's.
She sat separartely, not minding if she was alone. He was affected by the words Geet spoke,which was true but his ego is too big to let it go down and amend his relationship with Geet.
Maan and Tej were enjoying themselves. Laughing and all. Geet was on call most of time, she too was comfortable. She was Geet Handa, not affected by anyone. Maan would at times, look at her,
through the corner of his eyes. He would smile when she smiled, he just looked at her with respect and later on unintentionally, he started drooling.
Maan came back to his sense, by the loud music played suddenly by the DJ there.. Everyone turned to the entrance, where the spotlight was lit. Maan, Tej , Adi , Pinky and Geet all turned towards the entrance.
The lights went out, only a shadow of a person singing was seen..

Certainly Yes, she was surprised to hear Maan's voice. But he ignored her completely.

Mr. Khurana, I am so sorry for that, he pointed his finger towards Tej , dance. He looked down embarssingly.

Yes, He is my new project, I mean the contract for which I have come, We gave the deal to the best in business. He patted Maan' s back.
Geet was shocked.

She didnt bother to answer him, Jay, Listen to me, he wnt accept this offer, if he knows who you are to me.
Geet held his hand and made him face her now.Jay I told everything on phone what happened, and still you went ahead.
Of course I had to, I want the best for my company. Like you do too for your company. He placed an assuring hand on her shoulder, he looked at her and she at him. She nodded affirmatively.
Wait..Wait.. whats this. Maan asked confused. . The rest of the group came to join them.
Geet turned to face Maan. Looked straight at him in his eyes,
Mr. Maan Singh Khurana, she went near Jay without losing the eye contact, slid her arm around Jay's waist, by reflex, Jay put his hand on her shoulder..Jay is my fiance.
