Laals desperate without Bharti

24th August 2011 - WU

The episode starts off with Bharti asking the doctor and baba as to who she is, what her name is and where she is from as she does not remember anything. The doctor and the baba exchange some puzzled looks. The doctor then tells the baba that she got her head hurt badly and hence has lost her memory. The baba being pious prays god asking Him for his help. In the mean time, Bharti tries to get out of the bed and the doctor asks the nurse to sedate her by giving her an injection. Bharti falls asleep back on the bed.

At the Laal mansion, Murli is sitting on the floor with tears in his eyes and thinking about all the events that have transpired between him and Bharti. (As usual, the CVs goofed off by showing their first wedding, but made up by showing cute scenes from second honeymoon, adorable scenes between BharLi after the baby's arrival and finally the scenes from Bharti's disastrous fall. I loved the usage of song "Tu Hi Re" from the movie Bombay. Very apt, heartrending song for the situation that Murli is currently in 🥺.) Murli is so engrossed in thoughts over his irreparable loss that he does not even notice baby Rehaan crying (Very sad and depressing to see Murli like this 😭. Hope the CVs give this guy a break and reunite him soon with Bharti.) Meanwhile, Kamla is in her room hugging a pillow and crying as to why the Goddess took away Bharti from them and how can She being a mother snatch a mother away from her child. She laments that she fought through all the struggles/hurdles with the support of her DIL who is like a daughter to her and who is also Murli's better half. She cries even more and says that she is heartbroken and does not have the strength to fight back as her family is broken and has no one to lean on. Bansi tries to console her and tells her to get a hold of herself for the sake of Murli, baby and the rest of the family. (Bansi does a horrible of job consoling her as I can see no emotions in his face. Seriously, this guy cannot act. Horrendous performance.ughh 🤢!!)

Bansi asks Kamla to think of Dhara as to what she will go through when she finds out about Bharti as Bharti was the only hope for her after Rupesh's demise. He asks Kamla to muster all the strength to keep the family running and to maintain the peace and harmony that Bharti has worked so hard for. He also says that it will be difficult but asks her to try and tells her to get some sleep. Both of them hear the baby crying and rush to Murli's room. Veena, Dhumroo and Mridang also rush to his room and Murli is in trance thinking about the mishap and does not answer to anyone's call. Kamla scolds him for being irresponsible and not consoling the baby who was crying for a long time. Mridang finally gives Murli a hard shake and asks him to answer Kamla and that's when he snaps out of his deep thoughts, gets up, goes over to Kamla and picks the baby up and comforts him. Finally, the baby stops crying. He also asks Kamla if he has been crying very long. Mridang answers yes to Murli's question and asks him where his thoughts were?? We could see hurt in Murli's eyes and he does not say anything and starts crying. Vik's performance was outstanding here when he says that he is not in his senses, couldn't tolerate what's happening and couldn't live without Bharti. There are tears in everyone's eyes. He also goes on to say that the distance between him and Bharti was very less but still couldn't drag her up and couldn't save her. He says that he would never be able to forgive himself and cries incessantly. Extremely gripping and emotional performance by Vikrant!! He holds the baby close and gets down on the floor crying. Mridang asks him to get a hold of himself. Murli keeps saying the he couldn't save her and cries on Kamla's shoulders. Bansi consoles him and says that Bharti will come back, will definitely come back.

At the hospital, a policeman is enquiring the doctor and baba about Bharti. The doctor says that he does not know anything about the girl. Baba says that he found her fully wounded and unconscious by the banks of the river and that's why he brought her to the hospital. The policeman asks Baba if he found her by the river running towards Vaishno Devi and the Baba says yes. The policeman then concludes that she should be a victim of landslide that happened in Vaishno Devi and asks the constable to take a picture of the girl (Bharti) and fax it to all the stations. He also asks the constable to specially make sure that he sends the picture to katra police station as the chances of people over there locating her are higher as there are quite a few people over there that are still missing and not accounted for. The photographer takes a picture and the policeman tells the doctor that he would contact him right away if he gets any information pertaining to her and leaves after requesting the doctor to keep her in observation unit. I really liked the Baba who was selflessly praying God to unite Bharti with her family.

An inspector named Mathur from Katra police station calls inspector Suri of Jammu police station who was responsible for faxing Bharti's photos and tells him that they have a missing person in their report whose description matches to the one that they had sent out earlier with the fax. He also says that the description is of a dwarf girl who is between 20 and 25 years of age and named Bharti Laal. Inspector Suri asks who wrote the report and inspector Mathur says that it was written by her husband Murli Laal. Inspector Mathur also requests the policeman to keep her in his custody and he will send all her details to him. (I don't remember Murli ever going to a police station and writing a report. It is either that the CVs have forgotten to show us the scene or may be I missed the scene 😕.) The policeman thanks Mathur and hangs up.

At the Laal mansion, Kamla is talking to the baby and Murli walks in. Veena brings in a milk bottle and hands it to Murli. Kamla tells Murli that Dhara called three or four times and is distraught over the news of Bharti and keeps constantly crying without eating or drinking anything. Kamla says that she is concerned of Dhara and asks Murli to talk to her and console her.Murli is feeding the baby when Veena says that the baby is smiling looking at him and Kamla chimes in to say that the baby's smile looks just like Bharti's but does not finish the sentence. Kamla tells Murli that she still believes Bharti is somewhere fine and is doing well and will return very quickly back to her house. At the Jammu police station, inspector Suri gets the fax that has Bharti's contact number faxed by the inspector Mathur of Katra police station.

At the Laal mansion, Murli is feeding the baby and the baby was absolutely adorable drinking milk. Murli admires his smile and says that it looks just like his mother's and if she were to see him today she would put a black dot to protect him from any evil eyes. Telephone rings in the living room as inspector Suri calls and Murli who is so deeply immersed in thoughts of Bharti does not answer the phone and keeps talking to the baby about how they miss her and she must also be missing them just like them (I kept urging Murli to go, to please go and answer the phone which would bring an end to all his miseries. But NOOO 😲! The CVs have other plans which is nothing but sheer torture for us viewers) Unfortunately, Gau answers the phone and inspector Suri from Jammu tells her that they have identified Bharti based on the missing report written by Murli Laal and she is getting treatment in the hospital due to her head injuries and memory loss. He also asks her to come quickly and pick her up. Gau looks at the entire family trying to comfort the crying baby in Murli's arms and gets jealous and I have a strong feeling that she will not tell anyone about the phone conversation with the inspector. (I never wish anything bad for anyone as my mom would say that it would come back to haunt and hurt you ten times more, but for the first time I wished that something horrible happens to Gau and she disappears from the face of the earth 😡)

EPISODE ENDS with Gau's evil face contemplating whether to share the news with the rest of the family members or not.
Please bear with me guys as it is a lengthy update. Press Like if this WU was any good and served its purpose 😃

thanks @Kt25 for an excellent update.

and wow, what a heart wrenching episode it was!!
the scene at the hospital made so much of sense...the police officer acted in a responsible manner and made sure that bharti's presence is properly reported to police of the other stations, as many people were still unaccounted for from the vishno landslide incident...

babuji was so much better today...he acted well and his consolation to murli looked genuine...

today's highlight was definitely the murli/chutku scene...i cried along with them, for both of them...chutuku was lying all alone on the bed without the warmth of his mother and his father was completely unaware of his surroundings, the poor guy had nobody to take care of him, and when they played "tu he re, tere bina main kaisay jeeun" just pierced my heart...the scene was excellent piece of direction...it was just not the end over there, for it continued as kamla, bansi lal and the rest joined the two of them in the room...an excellent performance by vikrant again when he realized that he was lost and was not paying attention to his son...

as for the final scene, i don't think this woman gaushala knows of any human feeling similar to mercy and compassion...she cannot have mercy when a baby is crying, for his mom's replacement is hard to find...and it is a time when she herself is going to be a mom pretty soon...wow...

the cvs have done a pretty good job and have kept the audiences guessing...i myself cannot guess at this stage...but i can certainly wish for...and i would wish for bharti and murli and their son to be united as soon as possible...

Thanks kt25 for an awesome detailed update.

Vikrant did a great job today in portraying someone who is totally lost and bewildered. I had a time watching that Tu Hi Re scene. That song is one of my favourites and is currently on my playlist. I have very fond memories relating to it. The song and the scene just crushed me.

TuI have to agree with you about bauji. I'm not feeling this bauji. And I definitely don't see the chemistry between him and Murli. With Dadhi Raj, I believed he WAS Murli's dad.

Murli talking to chotu while feeding him was so sweet. It made me smile even though it was a bittersweet moment.

Gaushu needs to die now if she's going to do what we suspect she might do. Her child is better off without the devils spawn for a mother
😡

I'm hoping she might surprise us and do the decent thing, but I'm not holding my breath. Perhaps Mridang will come along and overhear her convo. I know, I know. Wishful thinking. Kya karoon? I live in hope. Yes I know that too, more fool me!

For the first time ever, I felt that the CVs did not disappoint me in today's episode. Both the policemen handled the situation very well and the scenes were pretty coherent. Murli/Vik as usual was brilliant in his portrayal of a distraught husband/father of a child. Kudos to him for that 👏. Loved every bit of his performance/interaction today with his family members and his son. He pulled it off with such ease. The fear for Bharti and the clawing desperation for Murli/baby who are shattered in their own ways was clearly exhibited in every single family member facial expressions.
I was so happy with the policemen identifying her as the missing person and was routing for the reunion of Bharti with Murli and their son in the coming episodes. My hopes were all crushed when Gau lifted the phone. Even for a second, I did not think that she was going to do the right thing by letting everyone know of Bharti's whereabouts. This woman has no bounds for her jealousy. All I can think was how low can she stoop to look at a new born as her competition who gets all the attention. She is seriously screwed up in her head and Mridang has to provide her with some serious therapy if he wants her to be around his child. I alreay feel sorry for that innocent little new born who has to grow up in the shadows of this woman who by no means knows the meaning of motherhood and needs/wants of a newborn which is nothing but closeness to his/her mom.

kt thanks for nice update
very well done

i liked the episode atleast story is moving ahead and as long as chimti is silent

vikram did good job and i think more than tht its not easy to get a small baby to howl at right time

i wonder how real parents r coping with the scenes with baby and that also such small one

hope proper care is taken

other than that y r cvs showing permanent pregnant papi gaushala

when is she going to have her baby

and if she wont tell family that bharti is alive and all the news she wud turn more evil when her own baby comes

bt me thinks she wont tell now but police has bharti mumbai address so somehow police only would bring bharti back home

and by the way murli was engrossed in baby that he doesnt hear the fone

so where was the rest of the family how come they didnt hear any fone

see this way family only is creating the rift and then gaushala blames

everyone goes out of their way for bharti and baby but no one pays much attention to gaushala

she mayb evil yes but she is also pregnant

even if gaushala has got cunning mother but lals r not doing right either

being more partial towards one and ignoring others wud create a big divide

though now i find it amusing that same lals had accused bharti when she stopped veena marriage but now all r ga ga over her

dont know what to call these ppl

@kt25
Thanks for the wonderful update! A lengthy update was really required for this episode as it had more of the sadness feel and less dialogues bit that needed to be conveyed to the readers. And you pulled it off well :) Guess it was in your luck to do the update 😃

What can I say about the episode??? Vikrant emoted really well and projected himself as if he were facing this situation in real life! A very tough job for an actor, and like always Vikrant scores full marks for it. Seeing him so disturbed really touched me and could feel his pain, suffering, anguish, helplessness, just everything! It felt as though I lost someone so dear 😭...! And Chutku beta, it was heartening to see him lying there crying waiting for someone to care for him 😭. And once he came into Murli's arms he was so comfortable and Murli too forgot his troubles for those few minutes 😊.

Also, not forgetting Kamala she's been acting really well this week and all the criticism I had for her acting she's been able to wipe it all off 👍🏼. But that Bauji 🤢 is ruining the acting by all of them arrgh! In the episode the way he was talking was like a mouse 😛 shee, very disgusting performance! The old Bansi would have performed and emoted very much better.

I was surprised to have seen the police being brought into the scene and identifying Bharti. Though I had a small inkling about it, but just kept it at the back of my head and least expected it to happen. I'm so much in awe of the Baba, I don't know why but I took an instant liking to him from Day 1, he is such a good soul! That reminds me goodness still exists in this world 😃...! Now onto the phone call thing, it was utter rubbish on the CVs part, do all important calls have to be taken by Gaushala only???? Isn't there any other good soul to attend it? For other silly calls some Tom Dick or Harry will jolly be there to answer calls, phoof!

I hope Gaushala has something called humanity in her and for the sake of being God fearing, tells the truth and not hide it. Anyways, achche logon ke saath achcha hota hai, if nothing works out with Gaushala, God will definitely show another way as soon as possible to reunite our MurTi 😃...!

Like a crazy BAVD fan, I'm praying for the best to happen 😃...

Thnx so much for the great WU kt 25!
What an epi and again what an outstanding acting of Vikrant! Cant stop watching these two epis! Just mindblowing! Now again they r that close to find Bharti, but , as the article told us, i am afraid, they really are going to show us more suffering of the lead role seperated! Kitna becharon pe aur zulm karengey CVs? I have never cried that much watching any movie or show. KKHH is the only movie which make me always cry, no matter how many times i watch it. But Murli n Bhartis life is a permanent torture. I wish Gau will have the most painful delivery ever a woman had, n then the Lals would become to know her neverending 'harkateyn' ! Mridang shoul kick her and Chimti forever out of his life! As I said I wish!!!! But seems CVs are not going out of mean and zaleel actions from her! Arghhh, this is too much!
