There is loads of corruption in our country. A few people, who have the so-called jack, just walk away with everything. Corruption is considered almost as a privilege, which is wrong, and makes people seem unequal. Corruption is undemocratic, and should be done away with. Anna Hazare's movement is a good slap on the faces of corrupt people. I am sure they have realized that the public will not remain silent forever.

Anna Hazare's cause is great, but one should also look at the flip side. The issue has taken such a proportion that it can bring down the Congress government. People do not realize that this will destabilize the country. Anna and his team should sit along with the representatives of the government and reach a compromise. I feel that Anna should settle the deal even if he gets 50% of what he had demanded originally. A country can't function like this; there is a certain protocol. The government has softened its stand, and Anna should also compromise.

Anna Hazare has shaken up the government. He has proved to the citizens of our country that change can be brought about and that corruption can be put to an end. Anna Hazare refused to leave jail till his demands were fulfilled, and that shows his courage and determination. I know that he will not bend till the government hears our voice. I support Anna Hazare in his fight for the Lokpal bill to be passed. I even attended a rally supporting him at Lokhandwala.
