Wasn't Jambavati originally a bear? After Jambavan's battle w/ Krishna, he offered her hand in marriage, and when Krishna garlanded her, she was instantly transformed into a beautiful woman.
So if they could properly show Jambavan as a bear, they should have been able to do the same for Jambavati, shouldn't they? Anyway, as I said in the other update post, given the other ways they've misrepresented things elsewhere in the serial, I guess we should be glad that they did a rather good job here.
Isn't Jambavati a virtual cameo role - only time she'd appear other than this story is when Samba was born, presumably when Samba brings home his bride Duryodhan's daughter Lakshmana, and @ the end, after the Dwarka fratricide. So not much for this actress to do.

Agreed Vrish. Jambavthi was a bear. After 27 odd days of fight when Jambavan relaises whom he fought with, he seeks to amend his folly and give his daughter in marraige to Krishna. She was a bear too. And the moment Krishna garlands her, she transforms to a beautoiful damsel. And she anyways does not have much role to play.
The prominent role will now come that of Sathyabhama.

If they are going to show both Jambavati & Satyabhama alongside Rukmini celebrating Janmasthmi tomorrow, looks like neither Jambavati nor Satyabhama will have much of a wedding. In fact both weddings would probably be very rushed. 😲 Poor them 😭😆
I wonder how Rukmini will react when she sees Krishna return w/ Jambavati? And how Jambavati will react when Krishna comes back w/ Satyabhama 😆 - imagine, you just married, and you see your hubby dear coming back a few days later w/ a new wife. 😭🤣 Wonder whether Jambavati worked w/ Satadhanva, Kritavarma & Akrura on the revenge? 😈 Since they have been corrupting the character of so many people in this story, why not her?

All newly married. Atleast some decent interval between Rukmini and Jambavathi but between Jambavathi and Sathyabhama hardly anything.
Revathy - woman you asked for the devarani's ENJOY

Wait until he comes back after killing Narakasura w/ 16,100 more wives!!! I can't wait to see Revathy's face then! Rukmini & Satyabhama too would be a kodak moment 😆
I wonder - couldn't he have asked Dau to marry 8,050 of them? Or would Revathy have not stood for it? 😆
You were right about the 27 days - good memory 👏

enlighten me, but wasnt there quite a few yrs gap after the whole syamantak mani stuff happened? i mean lord K was quite devoted to rukmini atleast for time before satyabhama entered the picture with her passion and stuff.

btw: although we read about vanara, and bear and nagas in the mythological stories, it is highly possible they were native people, mostly with dravidian culture background, who took a particular animal totem as the representation of their group and were basically humans.
I am not sure, but i read some where that might be the case. so then i guess sagars are not totally off the mark showing jamvabati as a human.

but otherwise: this show had so much promise and all i see is sagar creation these days, same like prithviraj chauhan and their other historical(!!!!🤢) shows, do they forget its lord K they are dabbling with?

Great to see you here again!
Our point is that either both Jambavan and Jambavati should be shown human, or both should be shown as bears. But showing one of them as human and the other as a bear doesn't make sense.
I agree w/ you on the other aspect - I think there were some years differences b/w Rukmini's marriage and the Syamantaka gem. In fact, Krishna's war w/ Paundra Vasudev may have taken place during this time, b'cos when Krishna sent his discus after a fiery monster sent against Dwarka by Paundra's ally, he was playing dice w/ Rukmini. Normally, he'd spend his time w/ Satyabhama, so chances are that that war took place b4 the Syamanataka episodes.
Oh, & on the rest, don't get us started - the way they've distorted both Krishna's & Rukmini's character has just been unbelievable. Krishna talks all the time about love, Rukmini cries every time she hears that he's in danger, and has no faith in his ability to protect even himself... It's hard to believe that the Sagars are the ones creating this stuff. But of late, their authenticity has gone from bad to worse.
