Our point is that either both Jambavan and Jambavati should be shown human, or both should be shown as bears. But showing one of them as human and the other as a bear doesn't make sense.
I agree w/ you on the other aspect - I think there were some years differences b/w Rukmini's marriage and the Syamantaka gem. In fact, Krishna's war w/ Paundra Vasudev may have taken place during this time, b'cos when Krishna sent his discus after a fiery monster sent against Dwarka by Paundra's ally, he was playing dice w/ Rukmini. Normally, he'd spend his time w/ Satyabhama, so chances are that that war took place b4 the Syamanataka episodes.
Oh, & on the rest, don't get us started - the way they've distorted both Krishna's & Rukmini's character has just been unbelievable. Krishna talks all the time about love, Rukmini cries every time she hears that he's in danger, and has no faith in his ability to protect even himself... It's hard to believe that the Sagars are the ones creating this stuff. But of late, their authenticity has gone from bad to worse.

hey vrish, good to be here too, actually ever since that guy committed suicide and they showed balram acting like an arse, and maat devki asking stuff, which seemed like a teenage girls tantrums, i have stopped watching the show. i only read here and thats why told u guys why i felt jamvabati was shown human, i didnt know her father was shown as a bhalu
eeks
well sagars were never really authentic to begin with, the go more for high voltage drama and their own interpretation of stuff, like whatb they believe and they think is correct and try to feed us that, its alays been like that, even in ramayan. thats why i like Mahabharat much, it was not pitch perfect, but atleast it went majorly with what we have read and have been told for days.
lets hope they come back to their senses once again.

Are you talking BRC's Mahabharata? I had major problems w/ that serial, b'cos BRC even more liberally than others, introduced his own messages into the serial, instead of letting it remain Vyasa's.
For instance, to pick just one example, in those times, if a ruler had several sons or nephews, it was common for him to spin off different kingdoms and start several parallel dynasties, to improve the chances of both his lineage continuing, as well as consolidate the power of the family over several lands. Rama did that w/ his 8 sons/nephews, and for the Chandra-vansh, Yayati did that w/ all his 5 sons. So everybody in that serial condemning Dhritarashtra for dividing the kingdom was totally out of place: Dhritarashtra was guilty of a lot of things, but dividing the kingdom was not unheard of.
As for the Sagars, there was this perception that they were authentic, but I've been watching the original RS Shri Krishna on Star Utsav, and there, in the latter Mahabharata part, the Sagars played fast & loose w/ the story, and we are talking the early-mid 90s here. So it was never really good, but if the Sagars mangled it in the ASR Uttarkand, they took too many liberties in JSK, Mahavir Hanuman and now this. (Here, I don't want to get into the Sagar Arts vs Sagar Pictures difference: I expect the same level of authenticity from both PHs, even if they may otherwise share different 'visions')
Yeah, I'm disappointed that the serial has been low in the TRPs, but you've pretty much indicated a good reason of why this is happening.
