As for the whole girls vs. boys issue in the villages and some places...awh god its incredibly depressing and horrible

I understand some point of views, I guess...like if I was born in that type of place, I would never want to have a girl child...ever...because I wouldn't want her to feel all of that, feel that she's inferior, that she's worthless...

Those men need education that a woman can work too...that she needs to get educated and not get married off at the first sign of puberty...

I read this in a book, that woman dont have sexual desires, and men need women to control their lust and all this bull****...and the mothers of those women, and wives, actually believe it...

The dowry system is like selling off the girl, but a marriage isn't all about what happens in the bed...or babies, either...its about two people wanting to spend their lives together and some people need to get their heads around this fact...its about emotions, not a business deal...whether the girls' family wants to gift the boys mother a diamond necklace is their choice..it shouldn't be due to societal pressure, or for dowry...

We all can help it, by eliminating poverty...and making sure everyone gets an education and knows their rights...
