A show with so many triangles

(I dont know whether it is worth to make this thread at this point of time, but I just wanted to.)

The show is/was filled with so many love triangles at each phase of its progression that too many at a time, if I am not wrong, while they literally announced just one, that is the Gulaal-Kesar-Thalli trio.

But there were triangles before/after this one which were more serious and so much blend with the track. One of them is so familiar to us is the Vasanth-Gulaal-Dushyanth one. Along with that IMO there was another one which remained unnoticed that was the Vasanth-Gulaal-Kesar trio and after the leap there was a Kesar-Gulaal-Dushyanth triangle at least from Kesar's POV and I could also sense a virtual trio of Kesar-Gulaal-Vasanth post leap.

The Kesar-Gulaal-Vasanth was the most important and worth triangle IMO, but the same remained invisible/unnoticed for one of them was a kid(again not that a kid) during pre leap and one of them never existed technically(yet there is/was the virtual presence) post leap.

(Having said all these I cannot accept Gulaal-Kesar - Thalli trio as a love triangle for some reason, because it lacks a center where the other 2 get attracted.so I am not counting it)

The most surprising bit of this is that all the 4 triangles were centered at just one woman, and the corners being swapped or replaced within the other three, which imparted a different impact on each phase of the story. But the woman being Gulaal it is not a matter of surprise at all.

Today these trios are changing to a duo Gulsar where Gulaal, the woman of dignity and magnanimity is joined with her destiny Kesar, a perfect passionate lover, a personification of unconditional love, a perfect husband if the person on the other side is his Gulaal- his love, his woman.

(I dont know whether it made any sense, but plz do comment)

Nice post! Yep, Gulaal has been the center of quite a few triangles and I am actually surprised that Raman has not fallen for her...that way all the brothers would have been in love with her.😆 I suppose the CV's were trying to develop the Kesu Gulaal Talli triangle and I am so happy that got quashed earlier on! I don't think I could have handled that for very long...🤢

Gulaal's personality is magnetic and before Vasant's death we got to see glimpses of her charming and chulbuli personality unfortunately she had to grow up and take up many responsibilities after his death. In fact even Durgesh was quite taken by her (he wanted her as his best sakhi🤢)!!

@ red, Is it possible for a triangle to exist without a center.
@ bold I think she is recovering bit by bit, and we will see that Gulaal soon, Kesar is trying hard for the same, Once she let out all her burdens, she will be back ofc.
@ yea I remember the half lover.

Gulaal has definitely been the turning point in the lives of all these men. In a strange way, I feel that her presence could have been almost least significant to Vasant - no offense to anyon who thinks otherwise - but the kind of love story GV are shown to have shared, is just a nice happy love story. They are two righteous, devoted people who appreciate the common virtues in each other, fall in love and marry. For Vasant - I can imagine any other righteous woman, even someone only half as good looking as Gulaal - but with all the innate virtues of her person to come and become his life partner, and make his life exactly the way it was.

On the other hand - Gulaal's advent into Dushyant's life is unique. Although it begins purely on a physical level for Dushynat - fact is, her strong personality changes the very person he is - starting from the point where he calls off the rebelling men from taking Vasant and Gulaal's case when she first enters the village. Interestingly, even in his evil phase, Gulaal inspires him to be better than he would otherwise be... and in Dushyant's case it seems as if the combination of factors - Gulaal is a beauty, Gulaal is virtuous, as well as Gulaal is a woman he cannot have - all join up to make a difference so great in his life, leading to his sin, as well as his reform. So in a way, her presence is irreplaceable. Almost.

Finally for Kesar - it is not about her beauty, in an odd way, it is not even about her virtues, because to him, and him alone, Gulaal is not this austere untouchable level of saint-hood. He has seen dark sides of her, which no one, including Vasant can imagine. He has seen through her vulnerability and fragility and weakness even when her exterior boasts only of resilience and strength and endurance. Kesar understands her like a consubstantial part of her soul, or her of his - without even making the effort. He doesn't know some basic first things about her - like her best friends from childhood, her favorite flowers... or even facts like her melodious voice - until someone tells him - yet, he knows her as a person in a way that even she may not understand herself. In his life, there can not only be no replacement for her - there can hardly be life itself without her. When he keeps distance from her for a decade, he lives constantly obsessing with his dilemma over her. When he changes for her sake, he thinks only about her happiness. As a kid, he can only think of how his life cannot be without her. Not for a moment. Kesar doesn't know how to survive without Gulaal. When he once told her, that he's always been so used to her presence that it will take time to get used to not having her in his life, he added, that perhaps he never really will get used... perhaps it will take forever to learn to live without her - because really, there's no living without.

In Gulaal's case too - she has survived with Vasant; of course she will survive without Dushyant - but as the finale will go on to prove - life without Kesar will be life without her soul!

btw - did you miss the infamous (and only alleged) trio of Kunal - Talli - Kesar?! 😆 don't you remember how many news pieces were going on about it recently?! 😆 Thanks for the post - ofc you were not late to make one! 😳

So true GV was a perfect couple, but what if they havent met. The answer is so simple, Vasanth could have married any other and may still be alive being an ideal son, ideal brother and an ideal husband.

Though Dushyanth was a bit evil at the beginning, glances of goodness was underlying in him and Gulaal was needed to discover it and only Gulaal could do it and from this we could get the meaning of why Gulaal was introduced as a superwoman and her attitude towards him could reflect the supernatural element, still residing in her, coz no other woman , doesnt matter how righteous could never deal with such a situation as she did.

Finally for Kesar - it is not about her beauty, in an odd way, it is not even about her virtues, because to him, and him alone, Gulaal is not this austere untouchable level of saint-hood. If Gulaal was a part of Vasanths soul then Kesar has dedicated his entire soul to her and Gulsar would live till eternity as souls would never die.

Indeed, the story has corresponding parts of similar triangles! Very unusual na..? Everything about this serial is unusual. Intrestingly, kesar and gulaal were always the central leads that came around from all complexities from these triangles and still managed to overtake everyone. The writers have taken each triangle as partially and related that to others to show some connections. Thats how everything has related to one another so far!😊In the end everyone loved gulaal immensely! even talli!😆
