Well yes ..Its a cycle Preity replaced Karisma ,Now Bebo replaced Preity..In future Anushka or some other actress will replace Bebo..we cant change anything abt that its an unwritten rule in BW lol
1 thing I dont agree Preity wasnt honest..She was always upfront and straight forward about her personal life,liking/disliking towards ppl,movies etc..It was Rani who was always hiding her affairs with married men,sucking up to stars,over diplomatic in intvws..Rani is a better actress but Preity is a far better person imo..

Wish she didnt botch up her face with all surgeries..She had such a pretty face with those dimples was not even an average looker like her other competitors

HI all! I'm new here, though I visit the forum often as guest, and since i'm a huge preity fan, I shall dedicate my first post to her.

Anyways, back to the topic. I agree with one of the post that post JBJ, she did get offers but I think it is because of IPL, that she stepped down and wanted to focus solely on IPL. I wouldn't be surprised if at that point she was already thinking of getting married to Ness. But oh well, things might not have worked out as she planned. I really miss seeing her in films because I think she is a very good actress. Post JBJ, she did heaven on earth, heroes, etc and she really did well in them though sadly it didnt help her in terms of the box office but it shows that she can be versatile as well. Like everyone said, the lifetime of actress in bollywood is limited. I think she also knows that she has been replaced by the younger lots just like she used to replace the older lots during her time. I'm not a deluded fan to think she will be at the top like she used to before unless she is given a good movie with good starcast and awesome role, which i doubt so.

And to beboholic (no offense at all), since when did she said kareena is in the industry because of her sister? I have never come across any of such news. I once read Preity said star kids never has it easy because people expect more from them. It's just that the stupid stardust magazine twisted preity's words and kareena got it all wrong because she read from the wrong source (this is what i understood). So kareena defended herself, which i can understand, and i think preity also wanted to defend herself and then they dont get along. Media can be such a bitch.

In reply to what the topic starter posted I agree with him/her. The decision to let movies take a backseat was Preity's own. She was still a top actress when she started off with IPL. If things would have gone well she would have been Mrs. Ness Wadia today busy with her family and business. I think her decisions went pretty well. IPL is a huge brand and Preity probably has made good money from it. But I dont understand why she wants to make a comeback at this stage.

No Rani admitted in Rajeev interview... that she wasn't getting good offers. She even compared herself to a beggar...saying she sits around waiting for a good movie to come her way. I respected Rani for that...she was honest about her popularity going down hill. Preity zinta is honest but that doesn't mean she is honest all the time. She is a celeb...and all of them lie to keep their egos big.
