Didn't Preity Zinta leave movies?

I see people calling her poor thing, loser and what not these days because she does not have movies.

but, correct me if I am wrong here.
When Jhoom Barabar Jhoom released(was yr was it?) Preity Zinta was still in demand with movies like Janemean happening at the same time.

The girl was gorgeous and one of the most sought after, and then IPL happened. Preity was in love - she decided to QUIT movies and go in that direction and try new things.

Itx her who left movies. Movies did not leave her. PZ nev er tried coming back until recently(after the break up).

And now she is finding her hard...

So, just correct me if im wrong. Wasnt it her own decision?
Had she still been in movies she might have been doing good? like, who knows?

Not her biggest fan but I love PZ as a person. Chilled Out !
She has made her decisions. She is happy. We should be careless :P

Nah, Preity's last big hit was in 2004 (Veer Zaara I guess). Since then she was on the decline. Jhoom Barabar came in 2007. Jaan-e-man in 2006.

And why does anyone have to QUIT films to work on IPL? SRK for example, managed IPL and his career with panache. Plus he had all those brands, TV shows to do and a production company to manage.

Preity never quit films. She never got good offers after 2005.

Preity has passed her shelf life in Bollywood, it's as simple & clear cut as that. She's no longer needed going by her situation, it's a dog eat dog world & she got the short end of the stick
