I loved their music for ZNMD! However, have to admit that some of the songs in other recent films composed by them have not been all that great,but maybe Don 2 will have a good soundtrack.

Dont know...I still love their music...but I find Shankar's singing nowadays very monotonous..dont know why..esp how he ends every song with the dhir kit tat etc etc!😆They are not doing GREAT music ..but still..I can prefer it over pritam!😆😛But yes...I have found them to be too influenced by western music!🤔

SEL has come up with their Latest Movie Album - AARAKSHAN... it has nothing chartbusting music, due to which movie has lost a major hype which is generated in pre-release period.

Although JHA movies have very less Music Chartbusters, but still, Raajneeti was better with 1 track atleast popular "Mora Piya".

I havent heard much about aarakshan's music...but on friday while watching X Factor,Shreya sung a movie from the film Aarakshan..I really like dit..but dont know whether its SEL's effect or Shreya's jaadoo :P...but yes..havent seen much of Aarakshan promotions either :S..

I still can't get over that dumb song they composed for Housefull, "He's such a loser". What a horrible song.

They definitely have. The last soundtrack of theirs I was able to listen to from start to finish was London Dreams. Everything after that, (I did like Hey Ya from KCK) has been a let-down quite frankly.

Actually the thing about SEL is that they compose 4 tracks one track is a chartbuster.

ZNMD tracks were good

I love Accha lagta hai from Arakshan. Its Awesome😛

SEL are repetitive and thts why i feel they dunt hold the same "magic" anymore...majority of their songs are either rock based or lounge music type stuff..nothing BAD, but nothing gr8 either..their songs dunt haunt me anymore like they used to..

...i dunno...all their songs just sound the same to me now...i.e all their desi masala albums like Bunty aur babli, JBJ,Housefull, Patiala house etc feel the same and all their "hep" movies like rock on, ZNMD, LBC, don etc sound similar...same with pritam,vishal shekhar and salim suleimaan...

the only composers who maintain a versatile yet individualistic texture to their music are amit trivedi, rahaman and vishal bharadwaj.

Last two albums have been very good . Patiala House and ZNMD. Showed imense range from " Laung da Lashkara" to " Sooraj ki baahon mein". They are extremely talented, original and versatile.
