You can't be serious right? Except the rhythm which is somewhat identical and the voice of both Caralisa and Alyssa being similar it's entirely different. The whole genre is different for chrissakes.

And Rock On reminds you of which of their earlier works exactly? Rock on, ZNMD, Luck By Chance are three of their most unique albums. They do sound repetitive in several other films they've scored for, I agree.

^ yeah agreed...

Phir Dekhiye and Khwaabon Ke Parinde are pretty different when it comes to mood and tempo and basic style
the only thing similar is the usage of a mellow toned female voice
I read somewhere that Parinde's score is in the form of a Spanish style song.. I forgot the name >.<

Is it? Sounds Bossa Nova to my untrained ears. The drums are defo Bossa Nova. Beautiful song, nevertheless - not "trying-hard-to-be-sweet" melody, has class and depth to it, with rich layered instrumentation and obviously the slightly husky and mellow voice of Alyssa 😊

Ah there we go =D Bossa Nova!
haha well I read this in someone's music review, either way, truly LOVE this song <3

I think she did a great job singing this song... her voice is sorta rare, it's kinda what could be between Sunidhi and Shreya's voices... it's sweet, but still pretty edgy
