I'll stick to what I've been saying other places - about the showdown being followed by Kesar being sent away to city for some errands by MB (cause he was called by MB at the end of Friday episode) and in that period of brief judaai as Nur likes to call it, Gulaal, free from the obligation of pulling off ostrich for Kesar's consumption will be forced instead to ponder of her Galool ways. Not an instant bolt of lightening to hit her - but if she prefers to admit he's trying to woo her, she will have to at least acknowledge his love - which she has conveniently turned blind or mostly blind eye to. If Kesar's blasting actually knocks greater sense than usual, she is going to still have much introspection to do - in terms of understanding that if Kesar as per his claims is not wooin her, but simply striving to make her happy, then really, how damn wrong has she been, and for how long. Another thing, that i also said before, is that Gulaal, onc she puts herself to objective thinking - which I doubt will be the immediate outcome of Monday confrontation even if it forms eventual ground for the same - will have to go all the way back to a decade ago and start collecting evidence of having lived with the convenience of shunning truth. Because for 10 long years she preferred to fool herself with the belief, that Kesar was keeping distance only because he was sent to boarding against his wishes. Somewhere, in maintaining this baseless relief, has not been Gulaal's faith, not even her silent desperate wish to be pardoned and accepted by Kesar but the silent simmering realization underneath (which she successfully subdues all this while) that perhaps her decision of DV with Kesar was not without its share of loopholes! If ten years ago, instead of fooling herself about such a shallow reason being cause of Kesar's silent wrath she had actually sad down to confront herself over the matter candidly, she would have realized how things after the DV slowly changed - how Kesar would come up with weird attitudes and questions for his 'wife' as his friends taught him... and how instead of spending time at that point in clearing his ind of the conception in whatever way is best for a 10 year old she simply brushed his questions and admonished him - she will see her folly was basically in chickening out from the consequences of the DV, including facing Kesar, even when he was just a child who could have been molded otherwise! Of course, the whole Vasant mystery revelation to Kesar proved a final nail in the coffin, but trouble was brewing from before that anyway!
Point is - Gulaal has to go back a long long way and acknowledge her fall out in courageously looking at facts of life and changing times. Plus, maybe, come to realize that her own need of Kesar, equals that of Kesar for her, and in a strange way always has, from a decade ago.
Phew! Gulaal makes me ramble too much. Bottom line - Gulaal is shown mirror again, and she tries to shun it again, except with weaker resolve and weaker resistance this time. Kesar gets sent away giving Gulaal more agonizing time to ponder over his words... whatever they will be - and eventually at begins to arrive on some comprehension of the gravity of Kesar's feelings for her, even if she still can't get herself to accept them! First step first is definitely her respect for Kesar's feelings for her, same as his respect for her feelings for Vasant - because in odd and obvious ways, the two circumstances are quite equal!
