Written Update 7th July: Bye Bye Laxmi!

In the airport, Suraj takes his boarding pass & says that he will leave in a few minutes. Laxmi is sad, they sit down. Both of them look at each other & then away. Suraj says you must be wondering y I asked u to accompany me. You have helped & supported me a lot, now its my turn.He gets a paper from his bag (& I have a bad feeling about it!😕) He hands it over to him & says I want to free you. Like you have freed me to live my life my way. I want to release you from our unwanted & sham of a marriage. These are divorce papers…(Suraj…tujhe mai heel waali sandals se maaroongi!😡🤢) Laxmi is shocked & in a dazed state takes the papers. He asks him to sign the papers & get free yourself from all the pains that you have got by marrying me. He says he understands what she must be going through, but is interrupted by Laxmi that you don't need to explain as our relationship doesn't warrant it. We both knew that one day we will have to separate & today the day has arrived. (She is smiling!!!) She says she is happy that one relation is ending & another is beginning…of our friendship. Don't worry about me, I will be ok & happy. He hands her a pen & she(Sheis a left handed person & educated!!!😲) signs the papers…suraj looks on all emotional (ek toh divorce diya, upar se dukh ka naatak😡) Laxmi says go Suraj, I have freed you from all ties. They both stare at each other. His flight is announced & they handshake!! (These 2 ppl r completely beyond my comprehension!) Suraj embraces her…(kyu Suraj kyu?😭 dont make it difficult for her!😔) & is crying. She moves them apart & then they smile at each other & Suraj is gone.

Laxmi waves him goodbye & finally starts crying.😭😭😭

She starts walking in the middle of the road…literally & all Suraj flashbacks from the village times are shown. She then remembers signing the papers. She bumps into a car & then realises where she is. At once, she moves to the side of the road & continues walking. She reaches a temple & goes inside. Its aarti time.She now recalls all their happy moments together...She takes off her mangalsutra while in her head she is reversing all the marriage rituals. She then holds the mangalsutra in front of her & offers it to Durga ji's feet & then walks out. It starts raining. She hides her divorce papers under her aanchal. Her sindoor has started running down her face like blood. Sad SL title track plays.

Angad, dadaji , Uttang & Mahen are playing carrom & hungry Angad calls out for pakoras.Kaveri amma gets them. Dadi says that's y you cant control yourself. Her running commentary continues about how glad she is that it stopped raining, now her clothes will dry. She wonders if Laxmi will be ok when Kaveri says that Laxmi is intelligent & knows about Mumbai's roads. She asks Tej to eat too. He says he was working upstairs & will continue to eat there…Kaveri asks Randal to take the pakoras upstairs. Randal is understandably uncomfortable. Laxmi comes…Kaveri asks y is she wet, didn't she get a taxi? Laxmi says Suraj went in, I came out, it was crowded, I didn't get a taxi…poor girl! Dadi asks after Suraj…Kaveri asks her to go & dry herself. She comments on the sindoor then notices the absence of mangalsutra…Laxmi looks up.

Laxmi wants to say something, but Kaveri wants a direct answer. Everyone looks at them. Angad sees a paper clutched in Laxmi's hands…while she is trying to make excuses. He asks her about it. When she doesn't reply he takes it & reads it. He then looks at her, shocked. Kaveri asks what is it, but when she doesn't get a reply, she takes the papers & reads them. She says divorce?Suraj gave you divorce? Everyone is shocked! Tej is happy. Dadaji gets up & the carrom table falls down. Kaveri is stammering, means you gave him divorce? Laxmi says no I freed him. Dadaji is very angry. He takes the papers & reads them. Kaveri is flabbergasted & mumbling. Shobna says this was bound to happen. I knew it from the beginning. A person like Suraj cannot change in 1 day.Laxmi defends Suraj. She says this wasn't his decision alone, we decided this together. Kaveri is asks her to think what she is saying. Dadaji says that he has been rendered speechless by Laxmi. He scolds Laxmi you've made fun of us, that this is a family where other people are there too. You finalised your divorce without consulting anyone. Have the other people died or they don't have any importance for you? 😭Laxmi is frightened.

Precap: Laxmi's dad comes to take her with him. He says that Laxmi has lost all rights of staying in this family. Shobna is happy, but the other people are not. Laxmi says that she will have to leave now, & goes away with her dad. Dadi, dada & Kaveri are crying. Kaveri is consoled by Angad.

Comments: It was a sad epi...😔I have no words for Suraj!😡 He knew Laxmi was gullible when alone, so he took her with him alone...what a rat!🤢 didnt have guts to do it in front of the family!😡 Laxmi, the ever understanding mahaan aatma..be real girl...but still, i can understand her POV😒. Family reaction was as expected...dadaji superb! 👏Thank god they didnt prolong the drama of her hiding it from the family & continuing with the married woman farce!👍🏼1 silver lining out of this all... Randal didnt have to go & give pakoras to Tej after all!!😆
