Chapter-22 Some revelations

Nandini have never seen this side of geet till now.
She now was almost sure that she had a certain someone in her life...the remaining doubt was cleared by geet herself.
Her coldness to her surroundings,her rude outbursts every now and then only strengthened her conclusions.
And she also knew this certain ''someone'' was none other than Maan Singh Khurana!
Nandini was a business student...she have seen and heard about many businessmen till now.
She remembered him coming to their Business School as a guest on a workshop.
And the one thing she concluded seeing him at that time was that he is not the kind of a regular business personality she have met so far.
There was a certain aura around him which nandini didn't like.
He was cold,talked less and had an authoritative tone.
Being serious is something else,but he was different-according to her in a negative way.
She wondered what drove him to have an affair with someone like geet?
They both are poles apart in every way.
And now she was scared for her sister.That particular love bite on her collar bone was only giving her unpleasant thoughts about their relation.
Have they already crossed all barriers of their relationship?
What if he is using her?
If Maan Singh Khurana has a girlfriend,the whole world will know about it...what if he is just playing with her?
Nandini had heard of some people,generally girls who become blindfolded when they fall in love.
Its not that they don't love their peers or friends,but once they fall in love,that love for the lover surpasses everything else-and that's when sometimes other relations seems to be a burden for them as they only seem to find love in the arms of her lover.
And there was every chance that geet was going the same way.
She knew she have to confront geet before its too late.

''Why don't you do something what raj did for simran?'' Geet pouted as she said.
Maan knotted his eyebrows and asked ''Raj...simran...who?''
''What!'' she almost yelled making Maan remove the mobile from his ears slightly ''you don't know Raj and Simran...do you reside in Mars?''
''Arrreee...Raj came all the way from London to impress Simran's kharoos dad and whisk away with his Dulhaniyaan...and you can't come from Delhi'' she again pouted.
Maan couldn't help but chuckle at her innocent demands...he now understood she was referring to the film.
''Geet...you...you are impossible'' he managed to say between his laughs.
''You...you are laughing...how dare you...fine I wont talk to you EVER'' she said and was about to cut the call when he suddenly changed his tone.
''Don't'' he commanded.
Geet was still pouting ''your'e a baddie you know that''.
''Sweetheart...I've told you na I'l come when time will come,then I don't even have to pull out stunts to impress your family'' he said in a loving tone trying to calm her child woman.
''But when...when this ''right time will come? I'm dying to see a glimpse of you maan.'' Her voice became chocked and her eyes moist.
''Shh geet...don't cry...I promise I will come to you and you know this by now that I never break my promises or back out.''
''I trust you maan.''
''And I love you.''
''I love you too'' she said and blushed.
''Geet''
Instantly her heart skipped a beat as she heard that.
She turned around and saw nandini standing with her arms crossed over her chest.

Maan cut the call and sank onto his couch and went into deep thought.
Soon his thoughts were broken by the knock on the cabin door.
He quickly got up and got himself seated on his revolving chair.
''Come in'' he said.
He looked up and saw the man who came before him and gave a polite smile.
''Lock the door'' Maan stated.
The man did as asked and asked for his permission to sit to which Maan nodded.
''Any information regarding Mr Rajinder Sahni?'' he asked looking into his laptop screen.
''Yes sir...in fact there are lots of them.''
''Hmm.'' He replied.
''Well...he is a businessman in Chandigarh and have...''
''I don't care about his financial status...I know that all'',Maan cut him off mid sentence.
''Fine sir,then I shall directly get into his personal life.''
''That's better.''
''Sir...this man seems to be some sort of playboy or something'' the man stated.
He had his head thrown back on his chair,eyes closed and legs crossed as the man in front of him continued.
''Like you instructed me,I've followed Mr Sahni for a whole week...he had been a regular at pubs and discotheques.And not only that he has been seen with different girls almost everyday''.
He just nodded,eyes still closed.
''There were also rumours that once he might have been in a relationship with some minor...I mean some 14-15 year old girl...but that's still a rumour,there's no confirmation of this piece of information.And no one have heard of the girl since last two-three months.''
He slowly opened his eyes to that.
''Her name was Riya.''
''Hmm...anything else.''
''Nothing of much importance sir...just his business deals,contacts etc.''
''Okay then'' Maan said as he got up ''thank you for your co-operation.'' he gave a small smile and shook hands with the man.
''I've sent my accountant to your office for the payment...I shall call you for any further assistance if needed.''
''Thank you Mr Khurana'' the man replied and then left.
Maan then sat back into his chair and started to spin a paperweight.
So you are a playboy Mr Sahni...interesting he thought and smirked.
Precap-His blood froze and eyes widened in horror as he tried to register the scene before himself.
