I enjoyed the epi.. and although I agree with P's decision because at this point she is portraying the depth of the wounds K has caused her.. and is in need of reassurance.. but the professor was not exactly wrong either this is a gamble with her relationship.. he was correct when he stated distances between the two of them can be either beneficial or cause even more problems.. and I don't think SS or Amma for that matter will mind taking full advantage of these distances... a part from the faith she showed in K's love for her it would have been nice if she was shown thinking her decision through before stating simply that she trusted him... !!!

I can't say I pitied Amma yesterday.. although I agree she has been abused her entire life hence that is what she finds dishing out to others.. although that is just no excuse to ruin your son's life without a second thought as to the repercussions... and now it has become blatantly obvious that Amma has absolutely no remorse for what she has done.. I did not see even a moment where she considered her actions to have been incorrect.. she was challenging SS with an angry stare when he yelled at her.. I can see she is not going to back down as easily as one would like...

Also I find it ironic that Amma craves power and more importantly affection.. someone to care for her yet she made every effort to get rid of the only individual who actually made an effort to care for her regardless of her behavior towards her.. !!

I have to admit looking past this incident and through a psychological perspective I cannot help but pity her state of mind.. I agree she most definitely is not thinking straight.. all of those years of abuse were bound to have a lasting impression more the psychological trauma one must face with a husband like SS who simply saw her as an object rather then a human being in dire need of affection.. later on when she realized she was not going to get it from her husband she tightened her control over her children.. only to find P getting everything she could only dream of.. leading to a jealousy gradually turning in to hatred.. for the women who got not only love but respect from K..

Amma is afraid of SS.. and she may be finding ways to hurt him without having to deal with him directly.. but after yesterday I don't think anything or anyone can stop her from making every effort possible to get rid of G...!
