Thursday's episode was all about disclosing a few home truths. Prats candidly refuses to return to Krishna. Krishna lays a few home truths about his mother in front of the family. Takur SS reminds his wife who has no remorse and is still up to her gatiya acts a few home truths.
Krishna continues to plead for Prats's forgiveness. He admits she has opened his eyes, saved everything and his life is just trash without Prats. He concedes they have both suffered through a lot living apart. He can't believe his mother would go this far and do this to him. He promises not to listen to his parents anymore. He vows to make it up to Prats for putting her through hell and ready to do whatever it takes. Krishna wants Prats to return home with him but Prats removes his hold on her arm and refuses to go. Prats says she forgives him and reminds him it's not just about forgiveness this time.😕 Saxes eavesdropping? I can understand the parents are concerned about their daughter's future but what is Arusi doing sitting there listening in on a personal and private conversation between her behan and jiju. Have the educated people forgotten their sanskaar for the moment asthe unfolding diraama got interesting?😛
Krishna beseeches her to trust him, he will never do that again. Does that sound like a child promising his mother? Prats finds it hard to trust him for he has turned a blind eye when she begged him to listen to him just once. She reminds him besides turning a deaf year to her he also started hating the very sight of her. For all his remorse now, the reality is that he is the one who broke off all relations with her from his side. Prats automatically slips into preacher Prats mode "Relationship is built from love and to keep it together trust is necessary. Trust and faith is what allows people to keep their relationships going. You don't have it in you. That is why without understanding or thinking you put your thumbprint on the talaak papers. Now what's left? On what grounds do I trust you will care about this relationship going forward?" Krishna pleads his case and defends his position "Whatever I did was because of misunderstanding, it was bec' of Amma, you know everything. I won't ever do this again. I accept my mistakes and if you don't forgive me for it who else will? Forgive me and come home with me." Prats is not ready to compromise. "No Krishna. I won't go anywhere with you" and leaves the room. Heartbroken and defeated at her refusal, Krishna strolls in the rain Prats's words echoing in his mind. It appears whenever Krishna has a lot on his burning kopadiya the friendly skies open up so he can think with a cool head. Wait a moment! Why is he walking home? Is his bike getting a free wash at the Adda in this rain?
A concerned Shamu approaches Prats and questions her decision to turn Krishna away when he has realized his mistakes and wants a chance to reform and make it up to her. After all what's the harm in giving him a chance? Granted she has gone through a lot recently. But she wanted Krishna to know the truth before his life is ruined. Pareshaan Papa doesn't want Prats future to be lost in darkness due to her misunderstandings with Krishna. He believes the right thing is for husband/wife living together happily. Prats concedes he's right "But if a wife forgives her husband time after time he'll never realize his mistakes. I want to go to Krishna and my home but what is the guarantee he won't do this again and toss me out of the house and his heart. Prats while you are at it asking Krishna guarantees about your future can you give him any of your own? What's his guarantee that you wont' hightail it out of there if the Takurs are up to games you won't tolerate anymore? Is it fair to demand of Krishna what guarantees you can't give yourself about your futures which is a mystery. All one can really do is live in the moment. Don't you forget that expectation of others is bound to disappoint you when they don't measure up. You are already living it right now. She defends her stance "You saw how he put his thumbprint on the talaak papers in anger without thinking. He has to know that if he keeps changing both of us will have to pay for by then neither will he be up to asking for nor will I be able to forgive him. Will I ever tire of saying this? Oh dear! Prats, you have so much to learn about the nuances in a marriage. Often the one wanting to teach their spouse a lesson is the one who needs to learn one asap. Will you, Prats, take responsibility for your part in stalling in telling Krishna when things started to go wrong? Shamu reminds her "Time is a double-edged sword, let it not be that by the time Krishna reforms instead of bringing you two together it create more distance between you too instead. Is this the nature of things to come between Kriya? Prats is confident of her future with Krishna. "Every husband and wife have misunderstandings and for the sake of their marriage they have to pass a few tests along the way. She implores her father to understand that this situation is one of those tests for them and it's important for them to live through this experience. Prats if you want to hang out with Mummy Papa and Arusi a while longer, admit it. Could it be that Prats is terrified of what Takurain can spring on her now that she's a wounded cat? If SDS could do so much harm when she was still in charge what is she likely to do now that Krishna has alienated her. Papa Shamu has been married close to 25 years yet Prats is sharing her wisdom on marriage with him after less than a year and half that too in a rocky marriage that stands on buckling legs at the moment. Ya think life under the Takur roof is stellar training grounds in this short period of time? Prats was worried about Krishna's condition the day he heard the truth from his mother's lips. Yet today she has higher expectations of him. Why is it Krishna is expected to meet her standards but she has rarely learned a few things she could do differently to make their marriage work? In a marriage if and when one half of a couple does all the reforming the equation becomes lopsided and that doesn't bode well for the future. When will Prats realize she also has to learn and change (if not reform) some and life doesn't always flow on her terms? On this show it does, I suppose!😛 The recent past should awaken her to that reality.
Now on to see what's up at nautanki Niwas. On center stage you are about to see an updated enactment of "War of the Roses" Takur style. SS chuckles in glee like a little kid after Ganga points out to a leaf lodged in his beard. Is Ganga bringing out the youthful side in the buzurg Takur? Will Ganga be the lucky one to get her hair brushed and braided by none other than Takur Sajjan Singh, so he lives his fantasies from years ago? SS praises Ganga for taking great care of him. The old fox is rubbing it in just to annoy his banished wife glaring at him across the center stage. He glances her way with a jibe to match "If my wife had taken better care of me, my facial hair wouldn't have turned gray so fast".Takurain doesn't take this lightly sitting on her corner cot "you are blaming the woman who all her life has taken the abuse and beatings and served with devotion? Why don't you state it clearly that I am no longer counted as a member of this family? She charges towards Ganga and warns the wide-eyed girl watching with fear in her eyes "And as long as I live I won't let that happen". Takurain then defiantly turns to SS "I will remove Ganga from here and throw her out". She grabs Ganga's arm when she hears "so what will you do with Ganga, mother?" Now we know where Krishna has been heading on foot soaked to the skin? Takurain slowly turns to see a drenched Krishna standing on her doorstep. The entire Takur clan lounging around center stage turns curious eyes in his direction.
Krishna walks in, his eyes pinned on his mother. Her worst nightmare is about to play out in front of the whole family. Krishna pointedly asks her "What would you do to Ganga to throw her out of this haveli? Will you burn her alive or will you set yourself on fire? Do tell me what new plan is brewing in your mind today?" Ouch! Words like darts aimed at her heart. But the Takurain had it coming her way awhile now. Komal who presumes to know it all jumps to her mother's defense and reminds Krishna not to talk to their mother in such a nasty way.Krishna sets her straight and offers to expose the truth and Takurain's real face to everyone. Even SS is surprised and curious looks are plastered on everyone faces. SDS is the only one who looked a bit concerned as Krishna asks to no one in particular "Do you think my marriage fell apart all by itself, my mother made all the plans to destroy it. She knowingly created misunderstandings between Prats and me by poisoning my mind against her". The family is all eyes and ears at this point. Krishna relates every nasty detail. SDS put into action to oust Prats from his life. He explains "Prats exposed my mother's every wrong doing and she couldn't tolerate it so she stubbornly set herself on fire and blamed Prats for it". Komal is about to get a rude awakening to life soon. Is she going to realize the value of the Saxes as a family now? Krishna affirms "only my mother can do what no other mother in the world would do' destroy her own son's life. If you think I'm lying ask her. She fessed to every gatiya thing she did from her own lips so what can she explain? Krishna vents in disgust "The veil of your fake love has been removed from my eyes. What was I thinking? I thought of you higher than any God, now you just think if are you worthy of being called a mother?" Krishna is directing all his pain back at his mother for ruining his life.
Krishna speaks from his heart "I am very sad today. There could be nothing worse in my life, bec' of you today Prats refused to return home with me. You won Mother! You have succeeded in ruining my marriage. Live happily, if ruining your son's life is what gives you happiness". With that he walks away to his room teary-eyed. Not a tear of remorse in Takurain's eyes after all that she's done. It can't be from shock for she knew this was going to blow up in her face after she saw him there. Everyone on center stage is gaping in shock and none of them attempt to console Krishna🤔.
SS is back to rubbing his eyelids and popping his eyes out and that's not good. He is about to blow a gasket. He grabs SDS's arm and swings her around to face him railing into her "you turned out to be a cunning fox. You plotted this all alone and got everyone to trust your version of things. You ruined Baba's life. Now listen carefully, you can live with an iota of respect left for her. But If you plan any violence anything against anyone in this house or MY Ganga then things will be very difficult. If my Ganga so much as complains about you I will throw you out of this Niwas so fast there will be no trace of you left, now drill that into your brain". Takurain is embolden by SS's harsh words. She glares at Ganga and back at SS. With her world collapsing around her she has shown not an ounce of regret nor spoken a word. Does she have ice-cold water running in her veins? The audience and rest of the cast leave center stage and the villainous Queen of Mean stands alone the first signs of some emotion😭 surfacing on her face'' maybe tears are finally about to make their presence?
MMM is on a sprint right now...😛😉
Those cold stares in SDS's eyes are those of an abused woman who doesn't give a toss. There is a reason why she mentions being abused and used for years, though SS didn't care much for it. Her gloves have come off. Who is she going to redirect her welling anger at? Did Prats decide to stay put at GH until SDS the simmering volcano blows over?
The way SDS glared at SS and Ganga is not of one who has accepted her life, she is not going to back down at all. SS's verbal trashing just now has only fueled the feelings already roiling in her. She is a woman who loathes herself for not protecting and defending herself from the abuse all these years. Prats reminds her of her failure to protect her own self-respect. She is also burning with jealousy at the way SS is overprotective and caring of Lady Ganga, something he probably never showed her a day in her married life. She can't bear to see another woman live a happier life that is why she is satisified Kesar was also an abused wife like her.
GD's words of warning to Kesar about SDS wants to win at all costs and will go to any lengths to make it happen is one to remember. This challenge from SS to abstain from any further plots or violence is bound to rile Takurian further, not scare her into submission at all. Neither was there shame, guilt, or remorse for all the things she did to Prats that Krishna listed out to the family. Even knowing Krishna would out the truth to the family any minute she didn't keep things quiet. She was on the verge of tossing Ganga out the door when Krishna arrived and challenged her actions against the newcomer.
SS's warning is going to egg her on. All the years of abuse and she no longer cares what the repercussions are. What's another round of abuse to an abused woman? Her spirit has been beaten down and nothing really matters to her but her pride, status and power that she wants to hold on to at any cost. The day SS walked in with Ganga she asked him how he could kill her alive. She has begged him to love her like Krishna does Prats. Instead, SS has banished her to a corner and continues to needles her about her new place in the haveli. SS has just threatened her power in the family and that is going to bring out another avatar of SDS out. Ganga is a reminder to her all that she wanted from SS that she didn't get but this pint size doll is likely to get from her mard. She is possessive of SS as we have seen that on several occasions. She'll stoop down to doing just about anything at this point and go for broke''..even go after SS and harm him IF SHE MUST to hold on to her power and her status in the family. She gave us insight into the real person when she revealed all to Prats as Krishna overheard her confessing the inner workings of her mind. How sad! What she calls honor and respect in the family is anything but that '''.she has fooled herself into believing she commands them from her family members.
Expected more shock from everyone in the Niwas, but it was lukewarm at best. What Takurain did is not just a silly prank. It was all plotted and pre-meditated to destroy her own son's marriage, the son she claims to love of them all. Takurain sees Ganga as a threat to her Takur throne. She is an abused woman she is not going to sit back and let another pint size girl come in and take her place as Queen of Niwas. That was exactly the reason she went after Prats. First it was Krishna, then the rest of the family including SS who started appreciating and listening to Prats that planted the idea her head to get rid of the bahu she perceived as a threat.
Even KN was shocked to hear how far his mother went this time and left the house in disgust. Komal always jumps to conclusion without the facts. Now her lips are sealed after hearing how far her mother has gone to destroy her brother's marriage. Will this wake Komal up to realize she's been giving advice with the wrong woman? Will she start to value her in-laws now that she's seen the true faces of her parents in the past few days?
Did SS come home with Ganga with plans to teach his mehraroo a lesson? MMM thinks so. Is SS taking a page out of Krishna's playbook? The junior Takur brought an educated sanskaari girl of another community as his wife, stood by her and fought off the family. Now SS has brought a poor, unpud girl into the family under this protection too. Does that mean Ganga will use SS as her shield and fight to right some of the wrongs in the family. SS did say the day he brought her home that she is a good luck charm and will bring prosperity to his home. Will the family be more accepting hearing from Ganga what they rejected from Prats? Or will Ganga use the fracturing in this family to her advantage at some point?
SS has a right to change his mind along the way. Does he change his mind after he hears that Prats refused to return home to Krishna and he decides to send her Krishna's way to distract him from Prats at some point? Krishna already sees his father's choice to bring Ganga home as a shameless act. Will he become the overprotective brother to Ganga and prove to Prats he does know the difference between and wrong? How will Prats what Krishna is up to when they are living apart? Are we likely to see Krishna become a frequent visitor at the GH in coming weeks?
Krishna promised Prats he won't listen to his dad or GD or anyone else. Just like he told Prats earlier he doesn't care about anyone in the family as long as he had her with him'''.he ended up packing her off. Will saving Ganga from the clutches of his family on his own finally prove to Prats he's a reformed man?
Will Ganga have a mask that is veiled in coming months that will carve the path to Takurain's redemption? Ashmita is doing a brilliant job 👏as Takurain is too far gone right now. How far will she go, what new chaalaki games will she play to maintain her power and control in the Niwas? POPS are doing a fabulous job 👏of delving into the mind of a perennially abused woman who struggles to survive in a world that is against her not for her.
