Gawd!!! MA HEAD HURTS NOW!!!!

*sumone...except ne Munni, Chunni, Dhoni...plz pass me a Zandu Balm*

U kno...this is the first ever show...am literally analyzing, thinking and re-thinking abt y he said that, y she did that...what was the real motive, the reason behind his behavior!

Forgetting ma headache...I just wanna hope and pray...that this show is recognized and appreciated!

I want these actors to win awards coz they are literally talent-explosives...
I know its one biased world in Tellydom...But seriously if acting like this goes unappreciated then I'm not gonna be surprised we don't have substantial actors on TV.

*Phangurl mode activated*

Everytym I watch Neil, Manasi, Sushant o da lady who plays JK...I just cross my fingers and hope that one day will come when people will look beyond "Rich looks, bubbly and clumsy behavior, forced hatred (just for the heck of it...o'lse the story won't be interesting) and all those OTT dialogues"
*Pallo humbly agrees I too am struck by the disease*
I do watch such soaps religiously and slobber over them...But honestly I've never seen a show which so deserves appreciation.

And yet...am sooo sure that it ain't ever gonna happen...coz REAL TALENT always goes unnoticed atleast in Tellydom!!!

If they pull off Gulaal unceremoniously for whatever inside admin politics, they don't deserve to be at the helm of the entertaining world. But like you said, a lot of people in this glam side are not there because they deserve to be, anyway!

I've lost the the amount of times I've wondered why this show is not getting the appreciation it deserves.

I am a serial freak (not too proud of that) but primarily for entertain purposes and I've always watched them since FOREVER but NO other show has been this well-etched out. The quality of 'Gulaal' is on a whole new level.

While I see other forums go deep in to analysis about scenes which seem so 2D to me, this show actually intends to make you think/. You are meant to analyse the feelings of Gulaal and Kesar. That's why I say that this show is a like novel on television where every scene holds some meaning. You won't have eye-locks put in just for the sake of it! In fact whenever GK look at each other, it doesn't even seem like the conventional stare.

If the Indian audience and STAR PLUS can't recognise the beauty of this show then shame on them.

It does make you wonder doesnt it...
Gulaal is one show from the start i say and even more so now, that deserves so much credit and appreciation, acting wise its all top-notch, writing and scenes are well used and placed, dialogues and so on
This show is one of the best on tv, if not the best right now and no show like this show, makes you think in so much depth and so on
And no character is wrong, but justified in their own reasoning etc
This show just doesnt deserve to go off until they have done with their storytelling and get to whatever end they want to reach...

Wow...this where all the intense discussions are going on.

I will need to go back and read from the beginning.

But I must say that the more a show is one dimensional and frivolous higher the TRPs. The thoughtful and deep shows with real acting and any level of realism people seem to avoid those shows.

I don't get it...don't people want thought provoking shows and shows that go beyond the eyelock and girl falling boy catching and plot lines that make no sense???

Don't get me started about award ceremonies! I was watching the previous one...Manasi attended and she looked stunning! Young Kesuda was there as well and I was hoping she or someone from the Gulaal cast would win an award but nooo! It was such a shame! The funny thing is that I don't ever remember anyone from the Gulaal team performing at the awards either...Manasi is a really good dancer and so is Neil so hoping this year we get to see them perform 😍

So rooting for the Gulaal team this year!!

Jzee: Yeap, I did follow RC!:D One of the best shows that Indian Television offerred! Am sure that refrence of yours must've been one of the many Rohan one liners 🤣 I rmb that scene actually coz someone made an Avi out of it in the creations gallery just that I can't rmb what it was about 🤣

Rest: Neither do I get why this show goes unnoticed. But that's the case always, isn't it? Good shows are mainly the ones that don't get the recognition they deserve by the masses AND in awards shows. BTW have any of the actors from Gulaal been nominated in SPA or ITA or any other award shows?

Nice post Jzee...wanted to comment yesterday but was busy making my first GulKes VM 😍

I have to say, I did notice a few changes or developments in the yesterday's episode but not sure if they are altogether good or bad. Well firstly, Gulaal was not AS angry at Kesar as she had been when she had walked back in? So...that was a good thing? I was honestly expecting the silent treatment from her BUT she actually spoke to him in the corridor and the vehemence, bitterness quotient had gone down a notch?? The second development well...she was actually nervous when she heard Kes walk into the room at night??? That was the least expected emotion from Gulaal...!! You know, no matter what she says, in her heart of hearts, she knows very well that Kes will never do anything wrong with her..all this talk about giving him his husbandly rights blah blah blah...that is just her lashing out at him the best way she can...hurtful, spiteful words. So, her nervousness was a bit strange? Maybe PB conversation was still ringing in her ears...?? The third development was her concern for Kes resurfacing! I was really happy to see that...been dying to see her act all concerned for him again! She sent Talli because she did not want Kesar to get any encouragement at all...after all she cannot push away her anger...it was really cute in a way...

Oh, well...here is to hoping these developments are a start...or maybe its just me, being overly positive!! 😛

@bold: So true...even the IF ranking system is full testament to this...the entire list of ppl in the "top 10" list...hardly 1% of them can even ACT😕😆

And yes indeed...the more one dimensional and frivolous a show, the more popular it is...instant gratification with easy trip-catch romance is the order of the day and what thrives.

I have honestly been so pleasantly surprised by the way they've taken the time to slowly develop the Kes-Gul dynamic...they haven't taken the easy route of throwing in 2-3 standard type ke scenes to show that lo bhai..."it's lowe"...I truly hope the quality of the writing continues to hold up...cuz the actors are all fab and are doing a brilliant job.

And I do hope the show is not abruptly yanked off air and is allowed to go through it's full potential.
