Hello Everyone!
If some of you think my topic title is something of a pun (with reference to GK's little peek-a-boo session) - well, it wasn't intentional, but I realize even that makes sense, lol! But technically, my post today looks at the sneak-peaks of what to expect in future!
Anyway - to the point, not a long ramble post today - but I don't see a post yet, so here goes... something?!
1) Sudha & Gulaal - The kitchen showdown was a proper window into what the future interactions in that house will be like, the teaming, the counter teams, the arguments. The dynamics among the ladies of this house is always a subject worthy of notice. If anyone has read 1984, I find these ladies like the three parts of the world, which team one way and go to war, then regroup, and go to war again, then regroup yet again, and go to war - basically, war is about the only constant among them - the grouping and sides are forever changing. Anyone see Gulaal and Paanbaa in opposite gangs - ever?! ... The only way, if, it can happen, is over Kesar. It did almost happen once - if only mildly. But continuing on these two, takes me to the next point...
2) PB and Gulaal - The little chat in Kesar's room. I found it curiously amusing, how PB used the exact weapon Gulaal had used yesterday, countering her. It was ironic, and even funny, how Gulaal was giving Kesar a reality check on man and wife yesterday - and when PB brought up the same for her, for a moment, she freaked out 😆 Interestingly with Kesar, she had an edge, because hello, she's been a wife before and knows the circumstance - he's still bachcha 😆 With PB, she didn't have the edge. In fact, the edge reversed, because Gulaal has been a wife, but PB has also been a wife in deeyarvattu - something that Gulaal has just stepped into. I like how that seniority of status works - now if only PB gets some character consolidation from the CVs! She of all the vital characters in the show, has no backbone whatsoever!
3) Talli, Gulaal & Kesar - I said this some days ago, how Talli was continuing to be the stoic sufferer so far, unlike Sudha who was fighting at every chance to avenge - because at the bottom of all matters she still saw how Gulaal had never cheated on her. She was hurting from Kesar's rejection, but Gulaal went to the extreme of extremes to still push the matter through, and somewhere, that has kept Talli from building even an iota of grudge against her old friend and senior, despite her potential prospect of competition. My question is, when GK finally get around and together, will Talli remain the silent lamb sacrificed? I don't see her becoming downright evil - but hey, she's human. Can she not believe herself deserted, betrayed, and left lonely - and can all of those negative feelings, coupled with Sudha's promising counter team - not fester the wounds into septic grudges? From where I see it, it's only a matter of when, not if. Plus, we had that short scene of her alarming hint of smile, when Kesar told Gulaal he was going to keep distance. She's not wishing ill on Gulaal - but she's convinced, because Gulaal has convinced her, that Gulaal doesn't and never will want Kesar in that position in her life. Perhaps, despite all her lost hope on love, she will begin to rebuild fauth when Kesar keeps distance, and imagine that he will gain his sanity and logic one day, pul out of this warped fairy tale of Gulaal and himself, and settle happily with her, moving on. The last scene again, with her sudden rise of tolerance and even understanding for Kesar, when she comes to advice him (an incomplete scene atm) I fear Talli will be harboring false hopes second time round - with Gulaal still playing the role of guidance wrong - and this time when it backfires, her grudges will be exponential - and not just against Kesar.
4) Gulaal and Kesar - Ah, yes, finally to the VIPs! So obviously, they will be coming together. How and when is the question. I think Kesar's resolve to keep distance (dancing around in smug victory to have predicted this btw) and Gulaal's latent, but evident, inevitable, and undefeated concern for Kesar - both are promising starts! He can't help but give in to whatever she asks of him - however much she may misunderstand him, and wrong him with her allegations and hurtful accusations. Yes, Kesar was once asked by Gulaal, if he trusted her, and would do what she would bid and want of him - he had said yes, he continues to keep his word. A hint from her sets him off, bidding. As long as she's back, as long as she's with him, in the house... as long he's not dying with the apprehension of having lost her forever - he will sleep on a cold hard floor, creep into is own room like a thief, eat after she has eaten, and live in every second of guilt - as long as... sigh! Gulaal - I actually laughed when she told him today that she was understanding sahi se what he wants, and his intentions. Ouch Gulaal - stop playing ostrich already! You're not just hurting him, its backfiring. If its to build a shield around him - he's done that for you, now stop faking! And spare one minute of introspection, when you're not just staring at your Vasant, to look at that face in the mirror and ask it - if it isn't being a hypocrite, saying something, meaning something! Oh when will the day of self realization hit her?! I'm all on team empathy with Gulaal - but I can't wait to see a speck of that guilt in her eyes, which shines through and through Kesar just now - half unwarranted! Anyway - her coming back, and moving int his room is all thumbs up from me. I'm happy to sit back (alright alright, bite my nails and fret every day) about where their story is going 😆
And with that I'm done for today. Uh, oh... did I say my post wasn't long? I guess I was lying - I wasn't trying to though I swear - mujhe galat mat samjho... *kesar's misunderstood eyes*
😆
Now jump in and chip in your side!
