Recap-Maan knew he had blatantly lied to the girl who trusts him beyond limits.But he also knew there was some truth in it as well.He was right when he said that he wanted to keep her away from the dirty facets of his life-it is indeed true.
But all that mattered right now is that she is in his arms,kissing him with all her love.
Chapter-21 Back to Hoshiarpur.
PAST
Geet was back to where she belonged to.She was back in Hoshiarpur.
The last two-three days before coming here were completely devoted to Maan.He was staying there in her rented flat 24*7-of which mostly were spent either inside the bedroom or on the couch or the washroom-Maan had the weirdest ideas of places for making love.
It seemed he was having his fill of her as she was leaving him after that.
Even after repeated insistence,Maan didn't budge from his stance of not going to HP.He kept telling her he will definitely visit that place but at the right time.
She tried to think when this ''right time'' will come? There was no way she could say yes to the coming alliance now.Not when she knows that the person whom she loves,loves her as well.Not when she has given herself completely to the man she loves.
But she knew one thing for sure-Maan can never lie to her.If he had said he will arrive at the proper time,she knew he won't back off.

Every one in the house welcomed her with all their love and blessings.
Some pointed that she had lost weight staying in Mumbai and then Delhi,while some suggested a full-on Punjabi food diet to ''retain'' the ''glow'' on her face.
The whole Handa family were having a gala time as their most adorable daughter have come back.
Even her maternal aunt's family were staying there as guests along with some other close relatives of the Handa's.
All this because the only daughter of the house was back and was getting married.
All were so much into themselves that they failed to notice that the person in question has indeed changed a lot and it had nothing to do with her weight loss.
She was no more the chatterbox she always used to be.It was not that she has stopped talking altogether,but the change was obvious as she only spoke when needed.
Even being amidst a noisy,madcap family,she was detached from everyone,even her parents.
Most of the time she would either be busy with Maan's phone call or day dreaming.
It was night time.Geet came to sleep in her room after a long chat with maan (which eventually lead to phone s**).She was now sharing her room with her bhabhi Pammi and her cousin sister Nandini.
For the last two days,every night she will make an excuse of going for a post-dinner walk on the terrace to attend his call.
She came back and saw them sleeping.She switched off the lights and went to sleep.
It was past midnight when Nandini woke up as she felt thirsty.
She looked around to find a jug or a bottle but it was too dark to find out.
She then switched on the lights to find one, praying inwardly that she doesn't wake the other two.
It was then when something caught her eye as she looked at Geet.
There in the light of the night lamp,she noticed a red mark on her collar-bone.
She looked at it closely as her sister-it seemed-was in deep slumber.
Nandini was no fool to not understand the difference between a hickey and an insect bite.But at this moment thinking something like this about her sister was definitely not a good thing to do.
But as she dismissed the thought as some illusion and decided not to think about it again and turned to her side of the bed,she faintly heard Geet murmuring in her sleep.
As she turned to look at geet she saw her smiling and uttering someone's name.
''Maan'' she whispered in her sleep still smiling and hugged the pillow tighter to her chest.
Nandini froze.

''Off lately the mosquito's have multiplied their numbers na geet?'' Nandini asked casually.
Geet looked at her narrowing her eyes ''why...are they troubling you too much?'' She asked.
''Nope...but I thought you would say this coz as far as I see,your'e the one being trouble by them'' she said and pointed to her neck.
Geet looked at her confusingly then looked at the place she has pointed.
Her face darkened as she realized what exactly was her sister pointing towards.
The change on her facial expressions was not missed by Nandini and it almost confirmed her doubts of which she didn't wish to think.
''Geet puttar'' Rano called her daughter and she quickly composed herself and said ''coming'' and got up.
''Geet...who is maan?''
She stopped midway as her sister asked her the question.She gave him a nervous smile and quickly snatched the mobile away from her.
''Well...he...he is my...my boss'' she managed to speak through nervousness.
Nandini narrowed her eyes as she looked at her sister's face...there was clear fear.
''Wow geet...you all call your bosses by their names or may be just save their contacts by their names?''
Geet looked at her in confusion.
''And you are here after finishing your work right? And I'm sure you have submitted a written application for leave...then how come your ''boss'' have already called you thirty times from morning?'' sarcasm and questions oozing out of her queries.
''That's none of your business nandu'' geet snapped at her sister angrily and stomped off leaving behind a shocked Nandini.
Precap- ''I love you too'' she said and blushed.
''Geet''
Instantly her heart skipped a beat as she heard that.
