Who hasnt seen Friends lol, if yiou havent where have you been living lolI dont see no eww factor in it, because as you say human emotions are complex and esp for us who have seen Kes-Gul so far from the start to their journey now - how can it be eww factor, when things have always been not against them but for them coming together - and that bond you cant define even to each other they were always Kesar-Gulaal not given a proper relation name just as bhabhi/devar was it - that was never emphasised on even though they were (you get what i mean lol), the only awkward thing is that she has SEEN him as a child but not seen his growing up, thats about it and also in Gulaal's case she has a block where all she knows and does is walk on Vasant's given path, keep the family binded etcWell like you say i wouldnt call it flirting but something along that line, teasing and so on i guessFor Gulaal to ever feel more, my answer would be seeing the kind of woman she is and so on, and what she lives by and so, you cant pressure her into feeling more - am not saying its not possible - but its something Gulaal herself will find it impossible to even see beyond that (if you get what i mean)
Good point Reemz.
Actually I think Richard didn't really see Monica grow up but did see her as a little girl on some occasions all those years ago which makes him falling in love with the woman she became so much more plausible...Same with Gulaal and Kesar. Gulaal left a child and got reacquainted with a young man. She knew Kesar the child but doesn't know Kesar the man, she had no contact whatsoever with him for 10 long years. In some way it makes separating the child from the man easier and so if in getting to know him again she ends up falling in love that wouldn't be so awkward...That's said, I do understand her reluctance to see him as a man and a potential lover. She did see Kesar as a child and acted as a surrogate mother to him at some point so it is understandable that she would have a hard time or be afraid to accept the fact that she can have some romantic feelings towards him now ... I just wish she would have realised that putting him in an other woman's arms against his will isn't the solution to their situation though. I must admit that her current attitude is quite grating on my nerves but oh well let's see how it will play out ...
