Shrutiii! Chalo, kissi na kissi bahane se Tina is maujood in Sakshi's new show 😆😆 LOL, just joking.
So, first scene was nice, if only because we saw Priya get mad at her doesn't-look-like-a-father for going on and on about marriage. It was nice to see that very childlike irritation build up in her. The meeting with her random friend Shruti was...well...random, and what exactly was the deal with her husband? That scene with Ram and his friends in the car was 🥱 this jealous wife business is so boring! And Tarana just ups and gets out of the car and walks away?! Since she knows him since the past 12 years, couldn't she have held her silly jealousy until they got back home? But of course, it paved the way for the most timely piece of music ever 😆😆 I love that song from Bobby and Ram's unease was cute enough. This is a 40-year old man who has never been on a real date. Reminds me of that Hollywood movie with a similar - if slightly cruder - theme. The girl did look about half his age, though.Liked the scene in the restaurant for two reasons: 1. again, Sakshi's very natural annoyance at her friends trying to set her up and 2. the lovely theme tune 😍Ram was hilarious in his obvious consternation at being in unfamiliar surroundings. "Mere liye paani boil karke laayega...aur inki liye koi bhi mineral water chalega" 🤣 He's one of those incredibly fastidious, grumpy men...he does seem to have this OCD thing about glasses, though. To be fair, I hate dirty glasses too.And the girl with her weird food quirks - butter chicken without butter, cheese pakora without cheese and aloo jeera without aloo?! So basically, they are having boiled chicken, gram flour batter and some jeera seeds?! 🤣 Yeah, I had the same look on my face as Ram 🤣🤣Okay, since we've had quite bad sidey actors recently, but this girl is quite good, for a change. And Ram proves exactly how good he is...throughout this episode, he displays such nuances in his acting, that it has got me really excited (again, after the disappointment of the last two eps) for Ram & Sakshi's onscreen interactions. These two will be the backbone of this show, no doubt.So...back to Priya. LOVED her description of a connection between two people; it is a sincere pleasure to watch Sakshi on screen. It certainly didn't feel like a lecture today when she was talking about how money can make no difference when there is a connection.Interesting to see that where Priya feels age is not a consideration as long as there is a connection, the first thing that Ram thinks about Priya and Vishal is that they are similar in age? Liked that *subtle* example of a difference between them. And, of course, it was a pleasure to see the girl assure Ram that he can be her "sugar daddy" 🤣Poor Priya - this was an unnecessarily cruel thing of her friends to do. Blind dates don't generally work out well, in my experience. Too many expectations, too little payoff. Her friends should have introduced her to someone in a party or group setting, where at least she would not have been left alone after being humiliated by a man on the verge of a mid-life crisis. And then they disappeared off to God knows where.I pretty much ignored all the Tarana (what is her character name?) & Vikram nonsense since it was highly annoying. And Ram saying "darling, darling" at the bathroom door was a bit of a random cliche 🤔 but even despite a few minor irritants, this was, for me, a much better episode than the first two. Nothing much happened, but even then it stood out as a decent episode because it was basically carried on the shoulders of the two protagonists. All the sidey characters to one side - Ram and Sakshi worked this episode like pros. And gave me hope, again, that perhaps we'll get to see something special from them. The chulbula-pan in Ram's character today, and the wise words and thoughts of Priya, while at the same time showcasing the very human feelings she had of sadness, anger, and the like...I want to see more of that. Kudos to Ram and Sakshi 👏

Nice writeup! I havent seen the last 2 epis, but I really liked this one mainly bcos of Ram and Sakshi. Both of them were really spontaneous, and Ram does comedy so effortlessly! I'm just waiting to see both of them together, am sure it would be a double treat 😉! Atleast in this case, we might not have to see the typical "romantic" scenes and dialogues! No matter how many vamps or villains might be there, I just hope they show Ram-Priya's relationship to be real and natural always, and keep their relationship away from cleche romance and silly misunderstandings. Somehow after seeing today's episode and its treatment, I have a certain hope 🤔.
One thing I felt about Ram and Priya from this episode is, no matter how confident both of them APPEAR to be, both of them have their own insecurities and self-doubts. This is one similarity between them. Deep down, both of them feel they might not be really preferred by the opposite sex from a marriage perspective. From Priya's point of view, its mainly due to her age (this is very common in our country), and from Ram's point of view, mainly because of his lack of physical attractiveness and also his age. He also fears attracting women ONLY for monetary reasons.
So I would love to see how both Priya and Ram, after meeting each other are able to overcome their individual insecurities, and be to each other what the other must have always desired to see in their partner 😳 . This would be an example of how 2 "imperfect" people end up being just perfect for each other 😉.
Hey Aparna - long time! How's it going? I totally agree with you - the strengths of this episode, and show, are Ram and Sakshi. As long as they remain natural, the show can be very interesting. I too would like to see them conquering their fears and insecurities together in a way that is natural and realistic.
