Kya se kya ho gaya...Story fresh se stale ho gaya!

What is going on with this story? The state that it is in made me go back to my very first RM posting on Nov 7, 2010. I am quoting a small part of what I said then...

A story about four women in Northern Haryana each with a past or secrets to hide is a great premise to build a show on. Where most series fail, this one, for now, has been doing a good job of focusing & building on all these characters and their lives in a gripping fashion.

What I loved so far:

• Well-fleshed out characters. For a story lover such as me, it is a pleasure to see all the characters have a good skeletal sketch that establishes their identity and levers at the outset. Here, attention has even been paid to the supporting cast.

• From a screenplay standpoint, I love the pace with which the story is moving forward. I wonder if that can be maintained in the long run though.

• I love that several of the main characters are not afraid to speak their mind. A Hindi series where the lead confesses his love to the lady and his family without the baggage of drama is refreshing to see.

I wish I could say even a bit of that today! 😒 Why...why...what is going on in your minds? I know you read what is written here, so give us a clue please. None of the tracks are anywhere interesting...not one. 😳 🥱 At this rate, even the few loyal viewers you have will stop watching the nonsense you are doling out on a regular basis. A brilliant episode or scene here and there is not nearly enough...not by a long shot! Please wake up and read the writing on the wall. The sound you are hearing is that of your viewers groaning and shaking their head in frustration...I certainly am!

Lets take today as an example...I knew that you would not have RD bring out the truth yet it was such a let down to watch it play out...OTT & unnecessarily dramatic! While watching RD is generally entertaining, it was not so in an episode like today! 😳 How much longer will we keep seeing this cat and mouse game with nothing really happening? Why can you not use your filler episodes to actually build some depth to this story...for e.g...what is the history behind the deep hatred RD feels for Brahma?

Then there was Priya and her empty words to Brahma about loving her family more than hating him...why should the two emotions even be compared? 👎🏼

Finally...Brahma making the moves on Uttara with Devyani spying...😡! I could watch it if Uttara were even remotely uncomfortable. But here...she is behaving so cluelessly. 😳 😡 😔 Maybe you have not walked the streets in India writers, but almost any woman I know is conditioned to be aware when a guy's behavior is inappropriate. In fact, women are so careful that a guy coming even slightly close to her, on a bus as an example, will probably get his ear chewed out and trashed!

Anyway...today was not an episode worth rating for me and the precap makes me completely disinterested in watching tomorrow! 😳 Its your show creatives...is this really what you want for it? I for one am disappointed beyond measure. I have spent hours and hours writing and promoting this show...seems like I was simply wasting my time as you do not care for it as much as I have!

Mana, Amna...🤗...I am annoyed beyond measure. Such utter crap its becoming. What I find so funny is this PH never really promoted the show, but they are really pushing the "Gaurav is gay" story in the press...I guess they are trying to make the public more comfortable with the idea before opening that secret. Problem is the story and screenplay is so bad these days that nobody really cares anymore if Gaurav is gay or not!

Anyway...so glad to see you both! Exams going well? I miss our long chats on the episode!
