yes indeed gulaal kesar bond was always the highlight of the show...when they started the promos...they showed gulaal dancing and vasant and young kesar looking on her while sitting on a camel...and kesariya balam padharo mare desh ...song being played in the background...so you see the show gave hints here and there like

1.kesar asking vasant whether he can marry the same woman

2.kesar sneaking in their wedding night and sleeping there...wanting gulaal to tell him stories

3.standing early morning on their door ,banging it and asking gulaal to wake up

4.refusing to go to school without her...

so on

Yes I indeed agree that teenage is a very crucial age and people fall prey to infatuations ...but this possesiveness about gulaal,his rude authoratative nature and always wanting that exclusive treatment fron her...was deep rooted since his young days...A very beautiful conversation bw Mb and gulaal can also be taken into account...

When young kesar got drunk and came back calling gulaal his wife ,then a worried MB asked gulaal that how will she handle this situation...to which she says that kesar is a bacha...he then said that today he is 12 what will happen when he becomes 13 ,14 16...he will then try to interpret the deeyarvattu in in his own terms what will she do...coz she dosent understand NOW AS SHE IS NOT A MALE

I personally feel that the influences in teenage actually forms a formidable effect on the mind...Also for kESAR gulaal was the only woman ...who took care of him...he was smitten by her charms then and as he grew old those momentsand bond s have over grown on him and become his passion...As a kid Kesar was a brat...possesive about his gualal...but got excuse as ppl saw this as child like innocence but as he now has grown up his deep rooted...bond has overpowered him and hence so many complex emotions...

Why he felt as Gulaal is his and asked Vasanth "Why could'nt we both marry the same girl?"and refused to call/see her as his Bhabhi even after Vaslaal's marriage...he was gulaal friend first as gulaal has asked him to be her friend so he never called her bhabhi vasant simply smiled wen a child talk like that

Besides I need to know one more thing, what are the signs when a deeprooted affection turns into an inlove feeling. Is Kesar showing the same signs? yes he is always had that sign he beat his classmate as child badly wen he badmouthed gulaal , he use to fight with jamna kaki sudha bhahi dushyant if they said anything against her basically he cant listen anything against her he does so till today...he always use to take food by gulaal noone can feed him except gulaal he does that still...he always wanted gulaal exclusive attention he still demands that...he cant bear anyother person in between them he use to get mad and use to throw tantrums he still does so...he cant take the fact that gulaal chose other krishna (he was about to burn his hand he got so angry) he still cant take if gulaal chose d or anyone else...he always use to bring gift for gulaal like bangles no matter he has earned it in wrong ways he wtill does so...he drank alchohol to excercise his right that he is grown up man and he has every right on gulaal as child he still does it...kesar was always in love with gulaal now his love is more defined and intensed

What I really mean is a deep rooted bond can also be shared in between a mother-son, sister-brother, and even with a best friend . How these differ from Gulsar?That was what I wanted to know. Actually now I am getting confused whether the mental state of Kesar is exactly that of a lover or just a deep rooted affection towards Gulaal for she was the one and only to support him in his childhood. all his feeling is always towards one person he loved gulaal he cared for gulaal he has affection for gulaal he is angry for gulaal he is angry with gulaal he hates gulaal...there is noone in his life except gulaal it was always like that...it will always be like that kesar doent allow anyone to come near him except gulaal

I think calling it an infatuation would just demean Gulaal-Kesar's bond. Infatuation is what Dushyant had for Gulaal. Kesar's feelings for Gulaal go deep, very deep. She has always been THE WOMAN for him! Plus you can't fall in love without having that physical attraction too. I don't think sobbing uncontrollably in the fear of losing the woman you love most can be termed as infatuation. He is insanely in love with Gulaal!

All his feelings are towards her.
