in Sony ' Surya The Super Cop is really happy these days as her role again has strike a chord with her fans. She tells us about her interests and future plans.

What is so special about Kaya?

Kaya is special in herself, Beauty with brains. Courageous outside but tender at heart. She can be a great role model.

How has been the response to the show and your character?

I am glad that I have got such positive feedback from my fans. They have loved my work. Right from fan mails to facebook pages on Kaya. Initially I was a bit apprehensive about how will people react to my character and now I am assured that I have done the right thing.

But the Show Surya did not do wonders on the ratings front?

The show had a fixed format of 32 episodes. It was not based on a strict TRP based show, It was brought to bring something different for the audiences who are least interested in IPL matches. But I am glad that the show had a good run.

Why did the producers of Rang Badalti Odhni asked you to leave even when you were a popular face more than the other

actors of the show?😆

I seriously don't know who is spreading such rumours. The fact is clear that I had a call from the makers of Surya and I wanted to do this show, since my character of Sam wasn't working. I had a talk to the production house and It was a mutual decision.

You took a long break after Left Right Left. Was that so Important?

Yes It was, I do think that I took a break longer than enough but it was important as I had taken it for a purpose and planned some things for my own. They didn't work out in a way I wanted so finally I decided to come back. I am glad that people haven't forgotten me and still love my work.

After Left Right Left, You did Surya as a lead. Does Crime Genre excites you ?

I am a very simple girl and can't relate myself to both Kaya and Naina when comparing to their physical traits, But Yes ! Crime Genre is my favourite because it excites me a lot and pushes to do something different. I am also doing a short film on Crime.

What's Next after Surya?

You will have to wait for that.
