Riddhi Dogra and Raquesh Vashisht have been dating each other for over a year now. Though the couple acted in the YRF show Seven they began seeing each other much later. Riddhi and Raquesh got engaged some time back in a private ceremony and are now geared for D-day which could be anytime soon. The couple however did not wish to reveal the actual date of the wedding but Riddhi revealed some of their D-day plans.

When is the wedding taking place?
It's happening very soon. I can't tell you the date but yes it's round the corner.
How are the preparations for the wedding going on?
Very good. I recently went to Delhi for my shopping. I did a lot of shopping in the North as I love buying things from there. Marriage is the most auspicious thing to happen. I hope we prove to be lucky for each other. We both are workaholics so we want to keep working and we definitely want to continue being a part of Maryaada.
What did you shop?
I bought a lot of things. I bought everything essential that a bride needs. I also picked up beautiful chiffon sarees, Laheriya sarees, sarees with Kashmiri kadai and some jewellery. Actually my mother has already done half of the preparations so I need not worry. In fact in India the wedding preparation starts the day the girl is born.
Who's designing your clothes for the wedding?
There is this Pune based designer called Nivedita Sabu who has also showcased her collection at the India Fashion Week.
Have you bought any special gift for Raquesh?
We keep giving gifts to each other. We don't need any special occasion to gift each other.
What kind of wedding rituals will you follow?
It would be a combination of a Punjabi and Marathi wedding.
What will you and Raquesh be wearing?
I will be completely dressed in a Punjabi style and Raquesh will be dressed in a sherwani.
So who all are on your guest list?
It will be a big wedding! But we have decided to keep it a close and private affair. So, we have invited some of our very close friends from Delhi and some close friends from the industry.
