The Residence echoed with claps as Geet cut her birthday cake. Abhijeet almost immediately hugged her and handed over a box wrapped in pink paper... The other officers even handed over their gifts. ACP gave his blessings after which Abhijeet took a huge piece of cake and stuffed it in Geet's mouth... Geet thought- Yuck..! She just swallowed the cake pretending to smile and then stuffed a cake in Abhijeet's mouth in return!...

The meeting with the clients was over and Khuranas had successfully signed the deal with the clients... Maan came back to his room and sat gloomily... He again took out Geet's photo and then called pinky...
Pinky entered his room scared- Y-yes Sir!
Maan: Order a chocolate cake now!
Pinky- kiske liye sir?
Maan: jitna kahaa jaye...utna karo... jaao!
Pinky- s-s--orry Sir!
An hour later, Pinky entered with a chocolate cake and left it on Maan's table...When the staff went back late at night... Maan lit a candle and blew it off on Geet's behalf...
Maan sobbed- Happy Birthday to you... Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Geet!... Happy Birth... Maan broke down... He recalled his engagement with Geet...

Maan had forgotten all his grey motives and actions of his past...smitten by Geet's beauty... Their families had planned to marry them after Geet's studies were over..which was nearly an year away now... But their engagement was today... Maan was really nervous... he was marrying a girl seriously...for the first time in his life... He was switching over with his apparels to look the best with Geet and to compliment her beauty... Finally, he wore a golden yellow sherwani...
They reached the venue after Geet's family reached there... Maan managed to peep in Geet's room and was awestruck seeing her... She wore a beautiful maroon lehenga and looked bewildering... She was shocked to see Maan coming in from the window...
Geet: Maan!
Maan closed her mouth- Ssshhh!
She smiled and hugged him... he hugged her back... He whispered- You look beautiful!
Geet- you too...Maan hot!
Maan smiled while Geet tightened her embrace...
Maan- You'll be mine in a few moments...
Geet- not yours... totally... half... and other half...after marriage...
Maan- hmm! I Love You Geet!
Geet- I love you too Maan... forever...
Maan- forever...

Geet sat by the window...gazing at the thick forests and the moon... She was lost when a strong smell caught her attention... Some animal was strolling near the residence... She caught it's smell of a Sloth Bear... her mouth watered and her throat burnt. With a marvelous agile leap, Geet jumped out of the window and landed straight on the forest floor without being noticed by any animal... so quiet she was in her errand... Her eyes shone brightly and her fangs were out...small growls emitted from her mouth... She looked furious... She breathed a huge mass of fresh air which made her aware of the location of the bear... She was about to leap in that direction when her old human EVS lessons recalled... the sloth bear was an endangered species and so she aborted hunting it. It took her few minutes to calm down... She smelt again and caught to smell of an elk again... She sighed- Elk again... but controlled by her thirst, she ran in the direction of the smell...

Maan called pinky after clearing the cake and the mess...
Pinky- Yes Sir!
Maan- yeh lo! mujhe is ladki ke baare mein jitni information mil sakti hai...do! within 24 hrs... is that clear?
Pinky- I'll try...
Maan- no trying... I want the result...(he thought) I'll win you back my jaan!

Geet returned back hour later where she was put into interrogation...
Ayesha- Geet! tu aise hi bina bataye kaise chali jaati hai ...huh?
Geet: dinner karne gayi this stupid...
Milind: to? bata ke jaati...
Geet: agli baar se bata ke jaongi! tum log kahaan jaa rahe ho?
Ayesha: Arey woh party hai na kal...uski tayyari ke liye...aaj dinner karna hi padega! warna wahaan koi humara dinner ban jayega to achcha nahi lagega!
Geet poked Milind: hmm!
Geet went back to her room and started with her little work she had. She had to complete a report and it was needed tomorrow... She wasn't able to concentrate and so she took out a photo... It was Maan Singh Khurana's photo... her eyes burnt in anger... she marked his face with a red marker and then drew a cross sign on it...
Geet: you will die... I'll revenge you Mr. Khurana... See what you've done to me... I am dead... (She held the photo near her heart) feel! Mr. Khurana! no heart-beats... my heart doesn't beat now... I'll take away your heart-beats too... I promise... Feel my body... It's ice-cold... I'll make your body this same way... Just come in my territory... you're entry in Mumbai will bring your life to an end... I will revenge Mr. Khurana...
She fixed the photo with the help of pins on the soft-board... Then she went back and stood at her wide window where breeze washed against her pale, hard skin...

Pinky rushed in his cabin all soaked in sweat... She quickly handed over the photograph and turned back to return...
Maan: Pinky? kuch pata chala?
Pinky- Sir..aap is ladki ko kaise jaante hain?
Maan: um... meri college-mate thi...
Pinky- sir..is ladki ke baare mein kuch pata nahi kiya jaa sakta!
Maan: kyun?
Pinky- kyunki sir...she's dead!
Maan: what rubbish?
Pinky- sir... she suicided 2 years ago...
