Who do you guys think was the surprise package of today's episode?

To be honest, I feel weird saying this, but I thought the "surprise" package was Punit. I NEVER expected SUCH a wonderful performance from him. I'm being completely honest. I was doubting his capabilities and the fact that he was in DKS, but if he keeps dancing contemporary, I guess he's here to stay. 😆

We all know RUTU nailed it, Siddhesh and Jai were amazing too. Mayuresh and Kruti were just WOW.However, we 've seen them and know that when they come on stage, they do really well. Therefore, I think PUNIT was the SURPRISE. Who did you guys think SURPRISED you today? 😊

kruti and vrushali, and in a very negative way😡

i am supremely disappointed and i wished geeta ma, inspite of her rona dhona was hear, she could have pointed out lots of mistakes( although she is infamous for her tacky song choices for classical as well😡)

I thought Kruti was amazing though. I thought Vrushali could have done better. She was really good at some points, but not that great. Kruti was amazing though. What did you feel was missing?:S

repetitive and very basic moves, not playing much with mudras

maybe, u know, knowing that they r amazing in classical, i expected much much more, and we all know what they can do.

btw: when will they let ammu do a duo and solo? she can rock it for jalwa.

TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU!!! his performance wasnt my favorite performance today (that was Mayuresh performance). however, it was definitely the most surprising. after manish annouced that jai, mayuresh, and siddesh were performing from Josh i got worried. But after amar got only an OK score then i got even more worried since punit was dancing from Jalwa. But WOW his performance was a really pleasant surprise. I'd heard before that he has trained in Terrence Sir's dancing school before DID 2 so i did expect him to have some potential to do contemporary but not the way he performed today. today he exceeded my expectations. He was awesome and now i expect more awesomeness from him.

btw: i have to agree with you on puneet

i always thought he was good, like i really liked him in audition, but for some reason, i felt he was so restricted during DID( except the waltz with suhasi), he was in a way surprise

but man, season1 walleh rilli rocks when it comes to solos, they really do

I think Vrushali's song choice was not suitable for classical😕, if she is pure classical dancer she will resist on dancing classical number on weird song..Also her mudras were common..have seen a lot
In contrast, MAAAnnn...Kruti is a pure classical dancer...her mudras are fresh and not common...thank god...I now now now now now...respect SHAIMAK as a judge that he told KRUTI your are a different level performer...INDEED she is...on comparison of her for classical..she always dances on classical beats for classical dance. Thats how she worship the form!!!👏

both were quite average, have seen kruti doing better than this before, but yes, she was a lil ahead of vrushali

I beg to differ...I thought it was very impressive face off. I don't think they get too much time for jugalbandhi and they really need to do something that can get audience attention. Vrushali had some impressive steps in her dance and so did Kruti. I don't think you can have different or complex mudras in bharatanatyam unless you are doing something totally different, may be like an Abhinaya item. What Vrushali and Kruti did was Nritya, a combination of dance and expressions but it was more dance movements as in Nritta. I am saying this based on my knowledge on Bharatanatyam. Being a classical dancer, I have enjoyed their dance very much. Their dance had no concept and that makes their dance justified for the songs they were given. Just my opinion😊 and yeah Kruti was indeed better than Vrushali.👏

Thanks for more clarity. but as an ordinary viewer who does not know much classical dance, i am still sure that Kruti's moves plus expressions were different (iam not saying they r not classical)...while vrushali's expressions were weaker...when Kruti dance her face tells, vrushali u cant see her expression very well which classical dance demands...
