600 episodes and number one again

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlataa Hai has completed 600 episodes and the show, that's been on air for two-and-a-half years now, is back to the number one slot on the TRP chart..
The cast and crew's excited and they celebrated the moment by cutting a cake on the sets. The man behind the show, producer-director Rajan Shahi was naturally present. "What makes it more special is that YRKKH has completed 600 episodes this week and it's in this week that we have become the number one show again across all channels," smiled Rajan.
"It is commendable and kudos to the entire team that we've stood by our conviction of telling a positive story and never resorted to false spikes or drama and presented a show that a family can watch together," he said. The team sure has reason to rejoice considering in this day and age there are serials being pulled off air within a few months owing to poor TRPs.
