In the Karjat City Hospital, Naina is improving, and Daksh and Abhimanyu face each other and it would give the impression, that they will come to blows. At least the first few belligerent sentences they speak to each other, is meant to do that to the viewer, but in fact they are trying to bluff one another, and when then can not contain themselves any longer, the two cousins, start bursting into laughter, and embrace each other, and Naina just stares at them with her wide grin and asks if they know each other. It appears from the introduction Daksh gives to Naina, that Abhimanyu is his Aunt's son. They were close as childhood friends, and for a long time Abhi was abroad, possibly doing his catering studies. He tells Daksh during his conversation, that he has come down to
Mumbai, to start a restaurant. As they go on with their reminiscences, the doctor arrives and has a cursory examination of Naina, and tells the young men, that he will have to keep his patient for another 12 hours for observation, and then if all reports are normal, he could discharge her tomorrow morning. They go out to allow Naina to take her rest, and sit outside in the corridor, chatting, and joking, and finally, a nurse has to come and remind them that it is a hospital, and they go quiet, and dose off, till the next day,.
In Mumbai, in the Patwardan house, all have got up, and Rohini has come down to the dining room, and watches her mother in law busy running her mixer grinder and in order
to attract her attention, puts on an act, with her head in her hand, giving an idea to her mother, that she is in pain. The mother swoons over her, with overwhelming compassion, and any one who looks at her will say, she is over doing her grand motherly duties like giving her water to drink, and should restrain herself, but she is an extrovert, having her first grand child, and she does not want anything to go wrong, and overlooks all of Rohini's antics. She tells her to take rest in her room. May be she thinks it is a better deal, to take her seriously, lest any harm come to her grand child, rather than be critical of her behavior. Kaka, in a special way, is uniquely placed to keep his sister in law in her place, and with his sarcastic idioms, will puncture any one's ego.
It is night in Karjat, and the cousins decide to spend the night in the hospital chairs in the corridor of the hospital and discuss about their lives. Daksh asks Abhi how come he
came to Karjat, and he tells that he was on the way to Bombay. Abhi asks Daksh why he came to Karjat, and he tells that he had a meeting to attend. He looks at his face, and says that looking at his face, he feels he is hiding something. He tells him if he is involved with that girl in the hospital? Daksh tells him to shut up. Abhi is a very ebullient boy, and can never stop joking and laughing, not reserved like Daksh. It all stops when a Nurse comes and asks them to keep quiet, and they go silent, and off to sleep. In the middle of the night, seeing Abhi fast asleep, Daksh can not stop himself, and goes into Naina's room, and again falls into a reverie, with all the old haunting and happy memories chasing him, and bringing a smile of joy on his face.
Later when Kaka, with his wife and Vedant in their room, are busy doing their work, possibly the boy is studying his history lessons, they hear a scratchy bell ringing. It goes on and on, and Kaka, draws the attention of his wife, and asks her if that is her bell, and she says, that she has not installed any bell. Vedant too sits straight wondering from where the sound is coming. Perhaps his science studies, have put him on the right track. He says, that it is coming from upstairs, and all rush to the upstairs bedrooms, and trace the bell to Rohini's room, and the whole crowd, including the emotional Ayee, Vibha Patwardan reaches the bed of the weakened Rohini, spreading herself, flat on the
bed, resting and cooling herself, with a switch in her hand, and is testing the bell which her husband has brought for her. Her delicate ear drums are enjoying the sound, but which exasperates all who listen to it. When Kaka asks what the matter is, she tells that her husband has brought it for her, so that she can beckon any one in case she needs help, as her mother told her not to go up and down, for the sake of the unborn grand child. Kaka's stomach churns and words struggle to rise to the tip of his mouth, but he walks away in disgust.
Back in Karjat, Naina has got her discharge, and the two cousins, joking and chatting, along the way, discuss how they will go to Mumbai. Finally they hop into Daksh's car, and drive on the highway. On the way, Abhi tells Naina, that Chintu failed three times in his driving test, and then they start arguing again. He tells that he forgot to wear his spectacles every time, and keeps the company in jolly mood.
As Kaka and his family are walking down the stairs, he is grumbling at his sister in law,
who has made herself into a Maid, from a Grand Mother ! Vedant puts in his bit, and says, it was a good idea to bring a bell. Kaka shoots back. Tells his wife, to get his son married, and bring a wife, who will bring a bell as her dowry. Then he lets off his twist of his palm, and squeal of his voice - his trade mark. As they are on the steps, he remembers that they have an invite to go for a dinner to his friends house, and he is looking forward for the meal, and tells his wife to get his daughter and son ready too, to meet them there, and hopes that he will get a good son in law, at the party.
Somewhere along the way, Daksh stops the car at a Dhaba, and Abhi jumps out, and rushes to the counter to find no one is manning the kiosk. Daksh suggests they go
ahead, and find another place. By the time they turn and are ready to go, they find Abhi is missing, and look out for him, but the prankster, has got behind the table, and has started cooking something for themselves. Mischievous as ever, he has started on some dish, and the two Daksh and Naina sit on the bench outside, waiting for there meal to be served. Abhimanyu entertains them with his light talk and banter, and they like it. It reminds Daksh of the old days. They carry on with their journey home, and on the way, Naina comes to know from Abhi that Chintu wanted to be a criminal lawyer, and there was some event which changed his mind, but he does not want to tell her about it. They tease each other about who learnt driving first, and when the cousins bicker and argue, Naina watches them in amusement.
In the closing shots, we see, Akruti and Ayush, the latter threatening to commit suicide, and jumps over a wall or something that looks like it, and we can see it properly in the next episode.
