Hi..very interesting discussion topic. Dutta is the only character atleast for me who made me in love with LTL and watched it and follow it religiously. For me this not only the matter of merit of other LTL members but, it is the matter of butchring so brutely an awesome love story. Another thing is, that in almost every love story, novel, film, drama etc most probably the storty revovled around the main lead as in LTL ... Baji is dutta's best friend from his childhood and his right hand in his work, AS is Dutta's mother who doesnot wish and pray any thing but his long life, his happiness, Leela, Roops, Kishore, Suds all are dependent on Dutta and his character from the date Patils entered in the show and last but not the least Kala whose aim in life is only to hate and destroy Datta, with all her strong character as main antagosnist and great acting skills of AG what would be the role of Kala after Dutta, so i am just trying to say that all these supposrting caharacters are very good and iteresting and actors who are playing these roles are awesome but what would be their part in LTL if there would be no Dutta beside searching, praying and crying for him. Finally the character of Dutta who is creat by the LTL and Colors CVs was larger than life even i think that the CVs themselves didnt know that what they creat. i am engaged with Indian daily soaps almost for 10 years from kyun Ekta's KSBKBT, KGGK, Ksusum, Kukkum, KZK etc, after my marriage 7 years back i came US from Pakistan and with new life i discountinued watchig Telly Shows but remained intouched with the soap, my mother watches so mny serial like, Paratigaya, SGP, SNS, YRKKH, LTL, Hamari dewerani, tere mere sapne etc so i know the stories and leads of these shows. i personally watch GKD and LTL, MY mother and I are sure and discussed so may time that till then after so many serials we didnt see a character like DUTTA. and Mishal what can say about this telented gem...he gave a soul to dutta..His dialogue elivery, facial expession, eyes, body language are par excellence i dont to discuss here the acting skills and personallity of Mishal here bec it will become very long and out of topic. But if Dutta remain in show with another face it will also unexceptable for me bec we as a viewers make a icture of a character in their mind,..Mishal is exceptional no one can take his seat but i can give my personal eg of many shows who i stopped watching after main laed replacemet wheather their character or actor, weather thy are male, or female, protagonist or even antagonist. PS said on this forum that we LTL forum members are few in numbers but i ell you that i joined IF on 21st Nov 2010. before then i didnt even know about IF but ' i quited many shows bec of these replacent foe eg. Kasam Se ( ZEE TV Ekta show) the day when character of Bani (female protagonist replaced) with another face, i quited the show, same as ghar ek sapna (Sahara One show) they also replace the the actor for female lead, i lost interest in KSBKBT, KGGK, KZK after replavemt of, Mandira, Pallawi and Anurag Basu. In kaajal (sonny show) and BMTD ( Zee Tv ) their CVs showed Antagonist win and lead pair died and replace their characters in Kajal they replace their characters with reencarneted differet pair of lead and in BMTD they replaced old lead pair wit new reencarnted lead pair with same actors but i didnt show thses shows ateres these changes. LTL was not an ordinary show, it remained hold its position of top 5 in TAM/TRP rating, so the PH and CV cant play with the popularity and success of show. writers also can't do any thing when lead diappeared all of sudden like in LTL. All due to bad creativity of Dutta/MR exit all LTL current team are going to suffer, Bec it is a fact that weather how much are the supporting cast strong and talented at the end they are supporting characters of story which is revolving around lead pair,
