Comparison of parallel characters
Everything that happenes in serials normally has a motive, or atleast so we expect. The analysis of scenes and their symbolisms is endless and everyone brings in a new dimension and perspective. So if we are to just assume that there is a purpose for everything that happens in the show, I don't think it can be sheer coincidence that this new family of Amritsar is a replica of the Khurana household in terms of just characters. I was wondering if there could be a higher motive on the CV's part in introducing similar characters.
Today, I am just trying to lay a base to this thought by bringing in a comparison of parallels. Just read through if you have nothing else to do, for it may be just it, something to read but nothing to gain.
Maan V/s Tej
Come to think of it, Maan and Tej are not very different in their personalities. Both are highly egoistic, highly capable, authoritative and strong individuals. To call them angry young men won't be wrong. Although Tej has not been shown to do anything like it yet, if won;t be too long a stretch of imagination to say that he also might be only who will act instantaneously rather then think before he does anything. Both are also successful in their own ways, have a lot of respect for their elders.
The biggest difference between the two is the way they treat their wife's. Tej has been shown to be someone who thinks of his wife as a machine who is just around to do anything he asks for or orders her to do. He is not concerned about her feelings or her thoughts and opinions and just thinks it his right to order her around. Where as Maan, he is one who can stop the world for his Mishthi. Anything that Maan does is for his girl, his wife. He is possessive about her, he loves her to no end and she is his life. His whole being revolves around her.
This comparison may have been introduced to highlight the magnanimity of Maan's love and his respect for his wife as opposed to Tej who might represt any other normal husband who treats his wife like she has no relevance. Since Geet walked out from Maan's life thinking that he does not respect her anymore, this track may have been introduced for her to realize the difference between all other husband's and her Maan, and also for Tej to realize that his sister could not have found anyone better than Maan and that there were things for him to learn from Maan. What is to question is also the fact that Maan was just like Tej before Geet entered his life. It may
also be to show the important of Geet's love to Maan.
Geet V/s Pammi
Again, both of them are similar girls. Chirpy, fun loving, friendly, helpful, understanding and lovable girls. Both have been married into families which are rich and have a lot of name in the society. They have husbands with similar characters and they have similar households to shoulder.
The biggest difference in their characters is that Geet is more outspoken and comes with a little more inner strength. She has been someone who fights for her rights and voices her opinion against wrong irrespective of who it if against. Pammi looks like she is more timid and takes what is given to her.
This comparison may have been introduced to highlight the sense of equality in the relationship of a husband and wife. Geet was very much like Pammi with daarji and Brij and the likes. She is more vocal in her opinions after her meeting with Maan and his encouraging words for her to become more independent. We have always complained that Maan has an upper hand in their relationship and they are not equal. This dynamic may have been introduced to highlight the fact that Maan are Geet are more equal in their relationship that we give credit to? Also, this may be an opportunity for Geet to save a girl who is being ill-treated by her family, who has been put down simply because she is a girl and a daughter-in-law. Geet might be shown to inspire Pammi who will eventually fight for her rights and learn to stand on her own feet.
Also, this track will make Geet more aware of the liberties she has even as a daughter-in-law because of her husband's attitude, as opposed to a life that Pammi is leading because of Tej's attitude. It maybe easier for her to see reality when it is right in front of her eyes rather than to think about it in her mind.
Dev V/s Lucky V/s Adi
Here are characters which are totally opposite from each other, but as still brothers, either by blood or by their actions.
Dev's character is the most confusing of all. They have changed his priorities and actions so many times so far that it is truly impossible to desipher what it is that this character seeks. He was initially shown as someone who detested Maan for his authority and richness, He hated that fact that Maan always had an upper hand and he was forced to do everything that Maan asked him to do, even if it was for his own good. Later, when Maan helped him come back to India, he totally changed and had this unmissable respect for Maan. Bro, bro all around. He tried exceptionally hard to come clean about his sins to Maan our of guilt and was even willing to face Maan's fury when he accepted his sins in front of him. He is continuing to be saintly but doing everything possible to disrupt the course of Maan and Geet's smooth sailing ship. The only thing I can conclude from his actions is that he has been a hopeless brother, intentionally or otherwise.
Lucky has been shown so far as someone who is craving for attention. He is also jealous of his brother and is looking for an opportunity to outshine him. But he is not one with a bad character, or even a bad intent. He is always available at his brother's side to do anything that is asked of him and has a lot of love and respect for his brother. He does what he does out of a little jealously and innocence but not out of any evil intentions.
Adi, although not a real brother to Maan, has always been by his side to help in out in all his times of need.
This comparison may have been introduced to highlight this fact that Dev is not really as nice as he is claiming to be. Even if he is trying to be a good person today, he is still a bad brother. Lucky, even though jealous of his brother, is a true brother and will always be available by Teji's side in his time of need without questing him. But Adi, he is the perfect brother who is even willing to sacrifie his life for Maan without being asked for it. All he cares about is the weel being of Maan and Geet and will do anything that is needed of him to get this done.
Daadi V/s Biji
At face value people would think that these two charactes are very different. One is very loving and caring and the other highliy authoratitive. But there have more things in common than that meets the eye.
Both daadi and biji interfere a lot into the lives of their children without leaving them the freedom of thought. They use their strenghts to drive the family bus the way that is convenient to them paying little heed to the distruction they are causing in the process.
This comparison may have been introduced to highlight just this fact. Although me might just hate biji for her authoratitive personality, someone as vocal as her maybe better to deal with than someone like daadi who will get their work done through emotional blackmaining.
Anne V/s Nandini
These are the only 2 characters which are very mich similar. Both are Non-Existant. 😆

Episode Analysis
The relevance of the dream
In his anger we saw Maan utter words that he did not mean. But when he confessed to Geet that it was in sheer anger that he spoke those words, she questioned him and asked if ti was truly just his anger or if he had really meant it. Today we saw that in her dream, when Maan was trying to convince her of her own feelings, she said that she did not love him. She knows that she loves him beyond anything, but in her anger with him, she said she did not love him, even if it was in her dreams. Will this eventually make her realize that he did not mean those words? Because today, she made the same mistake?
We are two bodies and a soul. Since the day I left you, I feel incomplete. But today, I feel complete, and hence I know that you are around
Geet senses Maan's presnece around her and is trying hard to find out if the new driver who has come in is someone sent by Maan or if he is Maan himself. Despite her best efforts she is unable to get a good look at him and she is left feeling restless. However, I do hope they do not keeo think chuhe billi ka khel for too long and make them meet soon.
Ram aur Sita jaha, Lakshman waha
Adi promised Maan that he would even lay down his life if necessary for him. It almost looks like he will end up doing just that with Tej and Lucky after his life. But that scene played out well (Although I could see it in better print again). Maan and Adi are more and more enjoyable each day.
Lucky ya Unlucky
During Maan's self talk, he is supposed to have thought to himself about everything that he is doing for his Geet, to win her back (I am yet to watch this bit). The first thing that came to my mind was the otrture of hanging out with Lucky. They are such opposites and Maan is constantly being out under test by him having to out up with Lucky's nonstop ranting. Honestly, I hope Geet acknowledges Maan's supreme sacrifice of his peace someday in the near future.
My thoughts on what might happen hereafter
It is obvious from the precap that Tej and Maama catcha glimpse of Geet in Balwinder's arms. With Geet still unconscious Tej might question Balwinder about what happened with balwinder responsing that he saw her falling and just wanted to help. Tej might further question Balwinder about what he was doing in the premises at this hour and beat him up as a pounishment for coming in contact with a girl from his family. Balwinder suffers silently.
Upon waking up Geet might be made aware of everything that happened and since she has already felt Maan's presence around her, she will connect the dots and will know immediately who Balwinder is. And now that she knows he is hurt, she will go to take care of him. She might then warn him about her family's hatred towards him and ask him to leave for his own safty. But Maan will promise to make things right and win their hearts too, with her support. And then starts all the fun.
