I'm just about as disappointed in Ekta and BT as I am with the channel...even when SP had maintained that TL was going to end, we had hopes of at least seeing the CVs give the show the ending it deserved, something they completely failed to do -- something they SHOULD have concentrated on WEEKS ago rather than concentrating on tracks that they recently cooked up -- Taposh's jail track was changed because of the notice, and so was Robi's change of mind after his suhaag raat...they could have easily had the jail track over with at that point itself, as well as Robi's revenge couldn't they? But no -- they concentrated on things that didn't matter to the main theme of the show at all.
The problem with Ekta and BT is that her concepts are brilliant, but once she tries it out she's like a kid in toy shop, she'll want to play with the same toy - or idea - again and again until it completely wears and there is no more novelty to it. KZK mein the entire idea of the heroine getting pregnant before the hero's marriage to another woman was more or less a new idea at that time, as was widow remarriage in Kyunki, and marital rape in one of the other serials. But afterwards she used these ideas in just about every concept of hers -- TL would have, if it weren't for us fans begging and pleading with the PH, been another KZK after months and months of seeing something really new and fresh...unfortunately, they didn't learn their lesson from that. AT ALL.
