Article: Neil Bhatt as Kesar

Neil Bhatt, last seen playing Abhi in Zee's now defunct show 12/24 Karol Bagh has been finalised to play the role of Kesar in Star Plus' Gulaal. As reported earlier by TellyChakkar, the show will leapfrog by eight years.

A source says "Neil and a new girl Helly Shah will replace child artists Ali Haji and Sparsh. A marked change will be seen in Kesar as his character will go through many changes from naughty, lovable to an angry young man. Neil's character will be introduced on Monday."

Bhatt confirmed his participation in the show and said, "I am glad I've been offered such a strong character. The young Kesar was sweet, charming and lovable but the character I am playing would be in total contrast. There is a lot of pain and anger in this Kesar and also there are many questions in his mind about his elder brother being killed, and him being married to Gulaal."

His role as Abhi young man wasn't very effective in 12/24 karol bagh to begin with? How is he going to pull that role in this sunken show is just not possible. Let's wait ans see first before we start pulling out the awards for him or the show!
