Lashy the reason i gave earlier in the post was the difference in the colour of the skin. While wild blossom said it was due to the climate. Now all my South Indian friends that live in the North and the ones in the U.S mostly have dark skin. The North Indians whether they live in Africa or South of India have lighter tones.

So basically the climate has not changed the skin colour of an average south Indian or a North India.( I know all South Indians aren't dark........just talking about the majority 😳).

So the argument given about the climate does not hold true or make sense.

The logic about Aryan race makes more sense here.

Thanks lashforever. But I know a lot about it mainly due to the fact that history is my favorite subject, I read historical fiction in my leisure time, and my mom was an Ancient History and Literature major. So she discusses it a lot. Anyway, yes- I would like to continue our debate as well.
I was thinking it would be nice if we had a "Challenge Debate," where the debate keeps going until someone concedes! Most debates seem to end once people have stated their opinion.

Okay- for the Climate. Yes it still does make sense- we are talking about long-term effect. Recent movement or even movement from a few generations back will not affect peoples' appearances. This is the result of hundreds and hundreds of years of exposure to a certain climate.
Secondly, you are saying that we (North Indians) and Latin Americans are the same in color due to mixing with darker and lighter races. This means that the supposed Aryans mixed with South Indians to make our skin color and appearance. In Latin American- who did the Europeans (who look like the "Aryans") mix with to make the modern Latino? Dark colored humans did not exist in that part of the world- they were brought over later as slaves. The original people there were not dark or anything at all or like South Indians in look. Records of them show people with reddish-brown coloring. Only after colonization did they match our coloring due to mixing of the races. To make this clearer- lets say on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being lightest, vice versa) that "Aryans" were 1 and "Dravidians" were 10. They produced 5 which is us. Original inhabitants of Middle America were 7 but after mixing with 10s they became 5s to match us. How is that possible? Why still match us? They should be a lighter color than we are. So it was not mixing of the races that caused our color because the equation does not fit- it would have to be another factor. Sorry if this is confusing- I guess some debate has to be done face to face so we understand each other better.
The statement about "Aryans" and "Dravidians" mixing also concludes that there were "Whites" and "Blacks" and thier mixing made us. If these were the two races- how do you explain the make-up of the Chinese? Also, Where did these White and Black races come from?
Even Christians say to explain the fact that Adam and Eve were White, but Africans, and everyone else came about because of climate changes.
So you must first give reason to where these "Blacks" and "Whites" came from. What caused each one's coloring?
If you then say that perhaps "Whites" were the original race (Lets just not get into Human Creation yet) or "Blacks" were the original race, how did the other one come about? If you say climate changes than you shall also have to give the idea of North Indians looking different from South Indians because of climate a 2nd thought.

And I am glad we are going to keep going! Keeps it interesting!
