it was called....is sandy the next indian idol...or sumthing and it said that insiders have said sandy's getting alot of support from bikaner....and the rest of north as well.....whereas karunya isnt getting much support from the south....and sandy is ahead in votes

As Karunya and Sandeep fight it out in the final round of 'Indian Idol 2' tonight, there is word that Sandeep may have an edge over Karunya.

Insiders say that despite Karunya's popularity on the show, Sandeep is way ahead of him in the polls. The voting for the final result started three weeks ago and will continue till 8.40 pm tonight. But sources say that the margin between Sandeep and Karunya's votes is huge. Sources also believe that because Sandeep is from Bikaner, he is receiving tremendous support from the North, whereas Karunya is not being able to pull support from the South.

The winner gets a Rs 1 crore contract from Sony BMG and will take home a Maruti Baleno car.
