can there be an eighth horcrux?

well, i just read about this. in the sixth volume, we read about amelia bones being killed in a mysterious way. this word 'mysterious' brings us to voldemort. so, what was that special thing that amelia had which brought voldemort out of his hiding?according to some of the hp fans, amelia bones who is a hufflepuff, had with her the hufflepuff cup on the night before her death. also, at one point in the book[hbp], dumbledore tells harry that voldemort comes to know about his diary being destroyed at the end of the second year. this means that voldemort had not yet achieved his magical number when he made nagini a horcrux. so, he killed amelia, got the cup from her and made it a horcrux. what do u all feel? . if u agree with what i say, then, what could the eight horcrux be?please fill in with ur views.

Nope, there were only 7 Horcruxes....Voldemort created only 7 cos he believed that 7 was the all magical number.

hun harry destroyed all 6 hocruxes 😕 when did dat happen between the sixth n seventh book.....😆 sorry didn't notice them then. the last time I heard the only hocruxes destroyed were the diary, the ring, and maybe the locket(discussion is still hot on that one) so according to my calculations there are atleast 3 more hocruxes to go be4 harry can take on Voldy.....

That locket was fake. It was taken by R.A.B. Harry still has to track it down!

i find it difficult to believe that some RAB ( the popular theory is that RAB is regulus black) could destroy a horcrux when dumbledore himself found it so difficult to destroy the ring , it burned his arm .... as dumbly said , it almost killed him ....
