Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan recently found herself impressed by entrepreneur Mira Rajput during a vlog shoot, a moment that has since drawn attention online. The interaction, captured in Farah’s latest YouTube vlog, showed a light hearted exchange that quickly became a talking point among viewers.
Mira, wife of actor Shahid Kapoor, walked into the apartment where the vlog was being filmed, dressed in a relaxed yet polished outfit. Farah greeted her warmly and immediately commented on her fitness and overall presence. The filmmaker appeared genuinely struck by Mira’s confidence and ease on camera.
In a playful moment caught on video, Farah went a step further and suggested that Mira could consider acting. “Mira, you can become a heroine. Do a role in my film,” Farah was heard saying. The remark left Mira visibly embarrassed, though she smiled and took the compliment in good spirit.
Mira responded by politely declining the offer, making it clear that she was not looking to enter films. The exchange remained friendly and informal, with Farah continuing the conversation without pressing the idea further. The vlog also featured Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and her daughter Samara Sahni, adding to the casual, social setting of the shoot.
Farah Khan has had a long and influential career in Hindi cinema, both as a choreographer and a director. She made her directorial debut with Main Hoon Na in 2004, which performed strongly at the box office. This was followed by Om Shanti Om in 2007 and later Happy New Year in 2014. In a recent interaction, Farah confirmed that her next directorial project will feature Shah Rukh Khan.
Mira Rajput first came into public attention after her marriage to Shahid Kapoor in July 2015. The wedding was arranged through their families and drew significant media focus at the time. Since then, Mira has gradually built a public profile independent of her husband’s film career.
She is now known as an entrepreneur and frequently shares insights into wellness, lifestyle and business through her social media platforms. Mira and Shahid are parents to two children, daughter Misha and son Zain. While she remains closely associated with the film world through her family, Mira has consistently stated that she prefers to focus on her own professional path rather than pursuing acting.
