Radhika Vidyasagar, who is seen in Rahul Kumar Tewary's Udne Ki Aasha, feels that working in a daily soap has helped her grow professionally. She shared that she tries to add different nuances to her expressions that elevate her performance.

She said, "When you work in a daily serial, your performance improves day by day because your confidence level increases so much. When your confidence grows, your craft evolves. You start trying different variations. The craft itself doesn’t change, but you try—at least for me—to bring variation in expressions, in tone, and in intonation."

"I experiment with different emotions and ways of delivering lines. I keep learning. It's a daily soap, so the pace is quite hectic, but I still try to grow every day," she added.

She mentioned that the show has kept the audience hooked by adding different twists and turns to the story. She said, "It’s very well written—the screenplay, story, and twists are all strong. Twists and turns definitely challenge you. I feel lucky and blessed to have received this character. Every now and then, I thank the universe and God that I was given a role like Renuka. Thanks to everyone who made me Renuka."

Radhika revealed that her character has a lot of shades and layers. She added, "It is demanding, but it is equally exciting to play Renuka because every twist and every turn in the story is a challenge, at least for me."

Asked about a milestone in the show for her character, she shared that it was the Bharatanatyam episode. She said, "The dance form—and the dance class that I open with my friend. That episode was a milestone for me. It got very good TRPs and received an excellent response from the audience. I looked nice, and people really appreciated it."

"As of now, I feel that episode was a milestone-kind of moment. Another milestone was when I dressed up like a Shahzadi from Akbar–Birbal. That episode was very funny and very entertaining, and people loved it completely," she added.

Though Radhika calls Marathi shows her comfort zone, she is grateful for the love and appreciation she is receiving for Udne Ki Aasha. She said, "This is my second home."

With gratitude in her heart, she shared, "I’ve learned how to be more professional while still being myself as a person. I’ve learned many things—time management, which I’m still learning. Life teaches you lessons in very small steps, and even those small moments teach you a lot. I am grateful for what Udne Ki Aasha has given me. Grateful for what Star Plus has given me. And I am grateful for what Renuka has given me."

She is hopeful that the show is going to do better in 2026. "Within the limited time and limited resources, we all try to give our best. This is not going to end anytime soon. It’s feeling very good. Personally, I feel the numbers are doing well and will improve further," Radhika ended.
