Chalhov,

I have read a very famous saying" God cannot be present everywhere and hence made mothers". Mother's association with her child begins from the stage when it is in the womb. The rapport is well and truly built. In the development stage of the child, it is the mother's bosom where the child runs to for solace. Mother is ofter expected to be neutral, irrespective of whether it is her own or adopted. She has due responsibilities of equal proportion to both. It is the mother who realises the strengths and weaknesses of the child, and who is always willing to forgive her child for all her mistakes and still take her in a cuddle and console her when required. It is sad and unfortunate to see Radhika being whacked. Having said this, I am glad that Radhika put in some semblance of a fight by holding her mother's hand when she tried to snatch the Kanha murthi, which to me is a good beginning for the things to follow.
I am also happy about the fact that as Radhika has been portrayed to be a child in this edition it is good that she is shown to be seeking answers which is befitting her age. It is therefore more realistic and logical.

Radha
Ashanti does not fit in that role even for her own children let alone Radhika. She is a overworked cranky and dissatisfied housewife who does her work with illtemper and this reflects in her behavior in general and she is one few degrees greater with Radhika whom she hates and physically abuses her and just tolerates her presence in the house why that story has yet to come out.
Radhika's reaction to situations parents and Chanda Chenu etc is quite different.Like her love and concern for her Krishan Kanaiyya😃

Problem here will be it will always be compared with CB 1 whether its for good or bad... As for i remember there was no physical violence except once when they have to leave the Vrindavan that time also i think Amma Ji reacted and tried to hit Radhika...It was her natural reaction as where they have spent there whole life and it was insecurity what they will do....As for removing her sindoor it was again a threat for Her grand-daughter Vishakha,s marriage....In fact in the starting there were some logic for their behavior but not later on , were dragging the soap on illogical tracks and highlighting AmmaJi evil streak....Agree with you Challov only recent shows do not appears to be DJ,s brand....CB 1 was also had less negativity-except the later part ....From there DJ,s changed for their worse tracks...As for Shanti being a poor family ,the fear of society., she would have reacted the same way if there would have been her own daughter as shown her character....Not defending her behavior but seen people her kind, daily struggling makes you bitter as you have one more mouth to feed.....Disclaimer like soaps...I am strongly against any kind of violence whether mentally or physically ....It puts me off thats why i want creatives to show less negativity.....

Neeraja in Cb1 also on that occassion amma phisically abused Radhika till Devaki came and stopped her here they r showing since childhood they have shown this. This thing is pretty common in middle and lower middle class families husbands beating up wives and children This wife beating and parents beating their children is quite common all over the world as we frequently see and hear such stories.😡🤢 ...... well I dont like that but see such things happening😡

Yes , that was time when she hit her and Devki came in between...I was always felt that CB1 was not from this time...In that period it was a issue what kind of family you are means blood-line...More over shastri,s being a Brahmin and bringing up achild whom somebody left ....You can expect this kind of Untouchability from Amma Ji,s kind of age...She never liked Radhika because of age old beliefs....
