Narcissistic personality disorder

I have never really been a fan of Terence, but I know I have actually started to respect him and admire his contributions to DID. He is the most talked about person on DID forum! I actually hated that guy, but due to some people consistently bashing him, i have become less critical of him. All I want to say is thank you, by directly or indirectly bashing Terence your making people feel sorry for him or voice their opinion and therefore increasing his popularity. Like I said i have never really cared about Terence up until know, I have always been a fan of Remo Sir and would have forgotten about Terence if it had not been for few forum members. Like the old phrase goes "out of sight out of mind," if the current discussion trends keeps up he will always be remembered.
That brings me to my second point I was actually wasted few minutes of my life that i will never get back thinking about why people bash him. Then I remembered Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) from psychology 101. So I searched the exact definition here it is.
"people have an inflated sense of their own importance and a deep need for admiration. Those with narcissistic personality disorder believe that they're superior to others and have little regard for other people's feelings. But behind this mask of ultra-confidence lies a fragile self-esteem, vulnerable to the slightest criticism."
some other symptoms include:
-Expecting others to go along with your ideas and plans
-Being jealous of others
-Believing that others are jealous of you (in this case geeta may also apply)
-Appearing as tough-minded or unemotional
-is exploitative of thers
-Arrogant behavior and/or attitude
Exaggerate their talents and achievements ( in this case geeta and dharmesh talents are often exaggerated)i
-inability to recognize or identify with the feelings, needs, and viewpoints of others
-Envy of others or a belief
Hypersensitivity to insults (real or imagined), criticism, or defeat
Some of these traits may describe those certian members who can't not stop writing Terence name in every post, other know them as the "Quit DID gang".

hmmm not sure how this is related to DID as a show but anyways as this is free forum i think you can write anything you want.But just because some people dont agree with your opinions doesnt mean they have Narcissistic personality disorder.Any how i dont think its a very nice thing to say about any member whoever they maybe this is just a show no need to get so serious.But of course you are free to write whatever you want to.

My goodness. 😲 I've studied psychology for the past four years, and I still do not feel that I have enough mastery over the subject to give anyone a diagnosis. I might have my theories if it's a child disorder, but my expertise is limited to actual in person contact with the person. The forum relies on us talking to faceless people who have user IDs. The ID gives a false identity, and many people act differently behind the comfort of their false identity and computer. They say and do things that outside of the virtual world might not be done by them.

Lovely post tulip.I completely agree.No one here knows any one personally so saying that some one here has some kind of disorder is not a very right thing to do according to me atleast.We can politely disagree with each other no need to say such things for other members this is just a show.
