Loha's character should not be changed even if the show is ending.
Loha is Loha ... mean as a bad tempered bull, belligerent, dominant, domineering, heavy handed, loud-mouthed, greedy swine, always full of his own self-importance, and ambitious as hell.
His scathing and at the same time humorous dialogs will be remembered and repeated over and over again ...
From the beginning of the show Loha's caustic tongue lambasted everyone including his wife, sons, daughters-in-law, servants, as well as outsiders. His acerbic mouth had everyone squirming in their shoes.
He was also as quick with his fists and stick, beating Ranvijay, Shekhar, as well as the servants. He finally committed the ultimate sin, slapping his wife so hard that he believed that he had killed her. To make it worse, he wasn't even remorseful.
His character was three in one. Villain 85%; Comedian 12% and a Hero 8%.
As a hero he saved Shekhar many times, while on the other hand also threatening, and provoking him to shoot himself
Loha was ineffective in trying to influence Shekhar in anything while Shekhar was as stubborn as his father, refusing to yield to him in any way.
Post Leap, Loha's character was reduced to just a villain, but his sarcastic and biting dialogs continued to make the viewers laugh. His heroism was reduced to almost nothing which left him with fewer fans than he previously had. (Post Leap he went after Laali with hammer and tongs, angering his viewers no end.)
One thing that Loha should change is his opinion regarding women. He should render them great importance in the making of society, not threatening to squash them beneath his feet, or calling them fit to be worn on the feet only.
In fact, he should take lessons from his daughter-in-law, Laali, who kept on winning over him despite all his frantic attempts to kill her, murder her, trying to have her thrown out of the house, bad mouthing her, etc.
If the CVs dare to change Loha, I would be sick.
Last words goes to Loha: "Agar tu Loha ko samajh jaaye, toh tu Loha Singh na banjaaye."ππ
