Anushka: Patiala House is a lovely film

Anushka played a fiery, Delhi-based wedding planner in BBB. In Patiala House, she plays Simran, a Punjabi girl who is Gattu's (played by Akshay Kumar) love interest and support system. She encourages him to follow his dreams.
Anushka is a terrific actress and a pretty face. She played a North Indian housewife in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi; a young, urban, and hep girl in Badmaash Company; and a wedding planner in Band Baaja Baaraat. Yet, she has not had her share of the limelight. The young actress says that she is more than happy to be in the news only for her films and talent.
Patiala House
It's a lovely film, and I am sure the audience will love the story. That's because it shows the Indian culture and the bond between a son and his father. Wherever we go, we Indians are stuck to our culture and moral values, and Patiala House is all about that!
Working with Akshay Kumar
He is super professional. He does very small, small things, which are subtle and funny. That is something I learnt from him - to be aware of small things, not only of big things.
Working with Rishi Kapoor
Oh, since childhood I always loved Rishi Kapoorji as an actor. He looked so cute, and even today, he is cute. His demeanour was such that he was very intimidating. But later, I get to know him, and I realised that he is actually a very cool person. He cracks lots of jokes, and used to keep pulling my leg all the time. We bonded well. It was great working with him.
Patiala House is all set to release on 11th February, 2011.
