Aamir will be the villain in Dhoom 3

| All speculation that Aamir Khan will be playing the villain in YRF's Dhoom 3 can be put to rest; the superstar signed on the dotted line last night. Aamir will play a full-on baddie in the third installment of the Dhoom franchise, which was essayed by John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan in the first and the second part respectively. The film will also star Dhoom regulars, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra. Aamir took the decision after a long meeting on Monday night with Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra at his Bandra residence. Says a source, "Last year in June, Aamir had met YRF scion Aditya Chopra, who had given Aamir an idea of how he envisaged him in Dhoom 3. Aamir had liked what he heard. A detailed script narration took place thereafter on August 13 last year. After that, Aamir mulled if he should do the role or not. But then, Aamir always takes time to commit. And once he does, you know that he lives up to the expectations." Adds the source, "Aamir will have a very stylized look in the film. Aditya and Aamir have started working on the look." When contacted, Aamir however said that he knew from the word 'go' that he knew that he was doing Dhoom 3. "The Dhoom franchise is a super entertainer. But you know what? I could never imagine myself in it. But it all changed when I heard the script. It's a fabulous script and when I heard it, I was blown away," said Aamir. Added the superstar, "Soon, I start shooting for Reema Kagti's film. Earlier, I worked with YRF in Fanaa. Dhoom 3 will be my second assignment with them. And the pleasure is all mine." Dhoom 3 is slated to release around X'Mas 2012. Victor Acharya, who wrote Dhoom and Dhoom 2 and also directed Tashan, will direct the film. ? Aamir will have a very stylized look in the film.
