CHAPTER 1
Ahem is still searching on the roads for Kinjal after Kinjal disconnected the call. He didn't understand her obsession with Umang. And he didn't understand Gopi either. What was that girl made of? Which star did she descend from? How can someone keep everyone happy? Isn't that a bit too far-fetched a mission for anyone? Will she be alright under his mother's scrutiny?
He has started to despair and calls home to give latest info about Kinjal to Gopi, so she is not unduly agitated. He was worried that her expressive face will give away everything.
Ahem - Hello, Gopi?
Gopi - Ahemji, I was trying your number only. Did you find Kinjalben?
Ahem - Not yet Gopi, but i did speak to her. She disconnected my call and since then her mobile is switched off. I don't know what that girl is upto. I had an idea that she will go to Umang's house. But she had already left from there.
Gopi - Ahemji, do you know where Umang can be. I feel she will go to confront him, wherever he might be.
Ahem - Anita told me they had a farm house. But its good 3 hour drive. She might not have reached there, but she might be on her way. I'll figure out something, you take care of keeping this in wraps.
Gopi - Ahemji
Ahem (irritated that this girl can't complete a sentence without prompting) - Spit it out Gopi.
Gopi - Why don't you take Jigarji's help. i feel you'll find her sooner.
Ahem (thinking this a good idea) - I might as well. Can you get Jigar on phone? but make sure no one else is none the wiser
Gopi - Ji... (She signs Mani to go get Jigar, while she holds the call, in mime tone)
Ahem - Gopi, are u getting Jigar on the phone?
Gopi - Ji...
Ahem - But i can't hear any sounds around you. Did you already tell someone about this?
Gopi is very scared now

Ahem - Stop stuttering and tell me what you did.
Gopi - Mani ben came into the room to call Kinjal ben downstairs and she noticed Kinjal ben missing. I had to tell her.

They both are on the phone and between them was an bottomless ocean of speaking silence. Ahem could hear silent Gopi and he wanted to know what Gopi meant by maybe. but before he could ask Gopi anything he hears Gopi speaking
Gopi - Ahemji, Jigarji is here
Mani had come in and secured the door, before anyone could listen on anything being said inside the room
Jigar - Haan Ahem Bhai, where are you?
Ahem - Jigar, listen to me carefully. I don't want anyone else involved. Only four of us would know this and it should stay such. Kinjal ran away from the wedding. right now am searching for her and Gopi is trying to put a front at home. i need your help in tracking her.
Ahem tells Jigar everything that happened till now.
Ahem - I am going to the railway station to see if any trains are leaving. I need you to check bus stands to make sure she is not in any bus.

Jigar leaves telling Gopi what they intend to do and assures her that they would be in touch.
Wedding rituals are going on downstairs and refreshments were being served to the Groom's side. As usual, Rashi is shirking duties. Koki sends Rashi to bring Kinjal.
Gopi was getting more tense by every minute that was passing by. Mani was with her the whole time. Already Rashi and Parag have come by to get Kinjal and they can't give same reason everytime, what would they do if someone else comes looking for Kinjal. Gopi's nerves were straining hard.
Gopi - Mani Ben
Mani - Ji Gopi Bhabhi
Gopi - If someone else comes looking for Kinjal again we will need to go down this time. we can't delay it more. What would we do?
Mani - and what if its Nani Bhabhi?
Gopi - Maaji can't know anything about this? We have to do something. Mani, go to the room where I sleep. from there, if you see Maaji coming, let her come till the door and when she knocks to call me and Kinjal, distract her by saying that someone downstairs is calling her.

Ahem - Are you mad Gopi? He already rejected Kinjal and insulted mom.
Gopi - then why don't you get Umang to say the same thing to Kinjal Ben. Might be then she'll believe what you are saying.
Ahem - Are we Kinjal's enemies that we will lie to her? Mom, even begged Umang.
Gopi - You know that. Jigarji knows that. I know that. But how can Kinjal be sure of it.
Ahem - Okk... I'll get Umang to say the same thing over phone to Kinjal.

Gopi is pacing Kinjal's bedroom waiting for the call... there were still 3 mins left of the 5 mins and she was very anxious. What if someone comes when she is on the call.
the phone rings and it is Kinjal.
Kinjal - Bhabhi, how could you tell Bhai? can't you see me happy?
Gopi - Kinjal ben. I do understand your pain. Wasn't it me who has helped you always in all your scrapes till now? Trust me Kinjal ben and atleast listen to me once.
Kinjal - Ji
Gopi - I know you don't believe anyone of us that Umang betrayed you. But Kinjal ben, if that person had loved you and spoke to you everyday before that fateful day. then what has changed now, for him to avoid you and make you worried?
Kinjal - Might be Bhai frightened him

Gopi could hear someone approaching the room looking for Kinjal, to take her down. She was frightened and tried to complete the call in a hurry.
Gopi - If nothing else, learn from my life Kinjal ben. Don't marry someone, only you love. Marry one who loves you too. Don't spoil your life for your pride.
Kinjal was so taken aback that she couldn't reply. Gopi Bhabhi loved his brother! How can she love such a cold-hearted person. She was so shocked that she didn't notice Gopi disconnecting the call.
Gopi was now atleast relieved that Kinjal would soon be home. Mani implements the plan she and Gopi thought of. She called Koki from behind saying Parag Bhai is calling you downstairs for some ritual. At this Koki instructs Mani to get Kinjal soon and leaves.
On the other hand Ahem is successful in disabusing Kinjal of her blind belief in Umang. Umang did the mistake of picking the call made to his number, which he didn't pick previously for Kinjal, just to taunt Ahem. Umang naively repeated everything that he had previously said to Ahem and Koki at various occasions and how everything was his plan to humiliate Modi family.
They are 10 mins from home and Kinjal had been crying since she heard Umang. She now knew who had been deceiving her and who had been protecting her. She asks forgiveness from her bhai and says she is ready to accept whatever is written in her fate.
Ahem - If only you had told us this before, then this kind of issue would not have happened and you would have got someone who loved you
Kinjal - Isn't that true for you too bhai.
Ahem - What do you mean?

back at home Koki was again coming to take Kinjal downstairs.

Gopi - Maaji, Kinjal Ben wanted to talk to her brothers. She is with Ahemji and Jigarji. I guess they'll be back in 5-10 mins. I'll get Kinjal freshened up and downstairs as soon as they are back.

Kinjal is back home now and gets dressed and married. She doesn't mind anything now. She has kind of resigned to her fate. Umang's betrayal has dampened her spirits. Seeing this Ahem makes sure he provides all items of material comfort for her as a dowry. But he puts the condition to Dhwal
Ahem - I would support you in your business, only if you establish your family in Mumbai. This way both of us can profit. What do you say?
Dhawal - I am also planning to return to Mumbai Ahemji. I have a good Gujarati Restaurant business which i don't want to loose.
