I've just watched 2 unrelated clips of CCBM- 1. when Siddath is about to tell the truth about Nivedita on his wedding day and 2. when everyone is forcing Nivi to see a psychiatrist in both scenes something comes out clear with Siddath.......

HE NEVER THERE TO STAND FOR NIVEDITA.

When he allowed Jawahar to accuse Kershav it can be put down to the plot line however in these 2 separate parts I find it surprising for someone who proclaims to love Nivi so much that on both occasions he kept quiet even knowing the truth;

1. the wedding night- Siddath KNEW Nivi didn't love Viren and it was a natak but STILL didn't say anything. Even if you say that he kept quiet for Viren sake that only holds true IF Nivi loved Viren too, but Siddath KNEW she did not.

2. the psychiatrist day- Siddath knew that Nivi was incapable of harming Dada Saab she loved him as much if not more as everyone else. And if she had wanted to harm him she had ample opportunities to do so before then which would've been a lot easier. However AGAIN Siddath said nothing when Dadi and Chanchal were forcing her out of the house and her distress was clearly see by him.

Again even if he thought it was right for Nivi to see a psychiatrist, he's an educated man and would surely know it would be best to take in a calm state and with her cooperation then in the state she was, but again Siddath did nothing.

This bothers me for if someone claims to love you to then that claim has to be backed up with knowledge of that person and also how best to deal with them.

If that was it I would've left it BUT what gets to me in BOTH clips is that as much as Siddath ABSENCE of his love/defense for Nivi can be noticed is the fact in both clips the only time he gets ANGRY and DEFENDS/ATTACKS is against what Viren say about the SOOD FAMILY.

In the wedding scene it is not until Viren pushes Chanchal hand and stops Jawahar slap THEN Siddath comes to alive and tells Viren off for NOT SPEAKING TO HIS ELDERS PROBABLY! (ok he does when so much has been said and Viren has proven a true aashiq ask 'Putal do you know what your doing?' Dah too little-too late) AND Siddath SHOUTS at Nivi for not laying there like a doormat and have Dadi step all over her on hearing the truth!

In the other scene the only time AGAIN Siddath shows any emotion is not when Nivi is dragged out t but when Viren points out that someone in the Family is doing it and THEN Siddath burst out and starts shouting the Sood innocence at Viren!

As much as Siddath 'loved' Nivi it was never as much as his love for his Family and if they had married he would've been a good husband BUT he wouldn't of been able to find a BALANCE between his Family and Nivi. I suppose Nivi only consolation would've of been she would've had a mother in-law that understood but no matter how lovely a rose smells the pricks of the thrones is bloody painful.

dont forget he starts shouting not only when someone says something about him but also his family...even though he knows jawahar and chanchal r not good people, he does not say anything about them or exposes them....actually i lost all respect for the character sid when he does not side with nivi that day even after knowing the truth....for me it was not a mistake, a crime....hiding a crime is also a crime....his silence is the only thing that resulted in all this mess....he has nobody except himself to blame for....just wish nivi helps viren overcome whatever psychiatric pbms he has....

the guy, siddharth, who is supposed to be so much in love with Nevi... never stands by her when ever she needs him... and now when she has her suspisions about him...he is shocked that she can suspect him who is supposed to have loved her so much😕

  • It seems that Siddath is unable to find a backbone!

I'm sorry, I like Abihishek and given a proper part his could really shine, BUT Siddath is so CONFUSE a person I feel like strangling him!

If what had happened tio Nivedita were some minor things like the bulb or the phone ringing, I could understand this softly softly approach Siddath is taking with Viren.

HOWEVER we're now talking about serious life threatening incidences with the medicines with Dada Saab and knocking Nivedita out with a wooded baton!

These could have resulted in serious injuries and Siddath does have proof against Viren.

I'm not staying he should expose Viren to everyone and I also think Siddath is wrong to go Nivedita firstly because at this moment she is not willing to listen to anything Siddath has to say but also he went to her WITHOUT the proof!

(For a business guy he sure is DUMB!)

But beyond that Siddath should use his BRAIN and think how best to tackle Viren;

  • LOCATION - the home is the WORST place to tackle something of this magnitude. There are numerous distractions and excuses that can be made to escape from the conversation in question. Siddath as a business should know this, as the choosing of the right location does play a part in winning what you want and as we saw Viren was able to shake Siddath off and use the work in the house to escape from the conversation.
  • WHAT YOU SAY - Siddath said what was in his heart with regards to his feeling to Viren HOWEVER Viren actions had gone pass that point where those words would mean anything and Siddath should of realised it.
  • PROOF - Siddath needs to keep the proof; the phone, the resort payment on him, and by now he should of checked up on Viren as to when he was in Delhi on business and should of found out that Viren had come early. I know Siddath is finding it hard to believe that Viren is behind all this but that's no excuse for Siddath sticking his head in the sand! And Siddath can't accuse Viren without SOLID proof, not when it's about to split up a Family. No matter that Viren has put suspicion in everyone's mind about Siddath but with Nivi he's backed it up with 'proof', so if/when she accuses Siddath she'll be talking with completion conviction for she has the proof.

If I had been Siddath i would've used the pretext of work and taken Viren in the car, I would've made it impossible for Viren to refuse to go in the car and take him to a location away from anyone and everything and then confront him.

Start of softly remembering old times, being sorry that NivRen didn't have the wedding they should off, how much Dada Saab loves Nivi and how his well being is down to them, how proud Dada Saab is of Viren. Always LOOKING at Viren, making eye contact and then asking more difficult questions; as why someone would want to harm Nivi and the Family, re-capping on the fact Dada Saab could've died, even Nivi could've been badly hurt- showing Viren the other possible outcomes to his action.

Never letting Viren to direct the conversation and then Siddath could've talked about the personality of the person behind this, trying to get a reaction out of Viren. At this point either Viren will lose it or Siddath but the truth is better out between the 2 of them alone then Siddath second guessing for it makes him look weak and confused.

It's good that Siddath looks for the good in everyone but not at the expense of others or when the punishment is given to someone innocent. Siddath needs to step up to the mark and that is what an older brother does; takes control and handles the situation.

yeah i agree that siddharth remained quite many times esp at times wen the situation was very tensed n nivi needed him badly...i was very angry at him at those times but now i kinda feel bad for him coz nivi hates him n is not ready to listen nething....n viren..my poor baby God knows wat happened with him during his childhood that he hates siddharth so much n wants to spoil his life...im sure that there are a few misunderstandings may b assumed by viren or may b told by chanchal or jawahar....hopefully we will get to know it very soon...
