Laali : "Meet My Family!"
Our very own Laali (Ratan Rajput) of Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo sizzled on the Ponds Radiance Zee Cine Awards 2011 Red Carpet held at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore with her desi accent. The Zee Cine Awards stage proved to be another turning point for her as she got an opportunity to extend the size of her family by adding new members. She didn't hesitate making all the well known Bollywood celebrities she interacted with her new family members by addressing them as Bhaiyya, Chacha, Chachi, Behen, etc.
Ratan was overwhelmed with emotions and hugged her Bihari country cousins Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha and in her characteristic chaste Bhojpuri diction said, "Ye hamre chacha chachi hain Patna se!" Khushi ke aansoo rolled down Khamosh Chacha's cheeks and for a moment he was actually Khamosh!
After some more rona dhona at the Red Carpet, their exit looked like a family reunited after years of separation happily moving homewards. She has also highly impressed by Khamoosh Sinha speech on winning the Lifetime Achievment Award where he raved about how actors from Bihar are taking baby steps towards making an indelible mark in the small screen. She was seen prancing around saying she's one of them!
We have heard Swami Vivekananda's famous speech, "Brothers and Sisters of America"... Guess Ratan is on the same track with a desi twist and her motto is "All from Bihar are my Family!"... May they live happily ever after Laali!
