Lara dutta starting her own production and the movie starts herself. I think all the bollywood actors are following the trends of owning their own production whether it's srk, aki, aamir and others as well

I think Saif is doing great for he's production. He's choosing the movies he likes

IPL is also a risky business... you can lose money too... it's probably safer for him to invest in production... besides, with most of the khans in their 40's, it's a little wonder they are all in production... if outside offers stop coming, they can at least star in their own home production...!! 😛😛😛
