I cant agree to this though. I have seen people with his energy level and wit, done great for first few years, but I haven’t seen anyone holding onto that same level of energy for 35-40 yrs. 
I really really think that in SRK’s case, he turned luck his way until it obliged. Do I think he’d have given up if it didn’t work let’s say after Circus or say Anjaam or DDLJ ? It’s not luck how he compelled 2 entire generations, male and female, to admit he’s the next superstar to Amitabh Bachchan. It was a big deal and he made it look easy.
